Butterfly Project Retreat Center

About This Center

Welcome to Butterfly Project Healing Center, an experience created to remember who you are through a transformation process guided for your Higher Self. We offer a different healing retreat with the help of sacred plants such as Yahe, Ayahuasca, and Rapé (tobacco powder), all made in Colombia according to the old traditional ways. Also you will be introduced to various alternative therapies (sweat lodge, meditation with Tibetan singing bowls, drawing, sweet word) to go deeper and restore your wellness. You will be accompanied by Bruno and Kay during your inner path to awareness and remembering your truly Self.

You will be lodged in comfortable cabins with mountain views, or comfortable rooms very near to San Ramón downtown, and you will enjoy three healthy meals so your body and mind will allow your spirit to recreate freely and give you the vital information to re-balance your mental, emotional and physical health. Our therapeutic sessions are very intimate (6-15 guests) so we can practice the Sacred Hospitality: we will be like a family sharing intuitive wisdom, support and guidance from our hearts to heal together.

We work with several places in Costa Rica, mainly in San Ramón (Alajuela). Eco Residencias Holistic Wellness Center is a place created by the Elizondo family for the community to enjoy different activities such as yoga, dance, breathe work, taichi, qi gong, clown classes etc.; all oriented toward well being and consciousness transformation. The building has 12 rooms, each having two single bedrooms and a shared bathroom, and common area; also it has 4 salons for multidisciplinary activities in the terrace area.

We like food made with love for sharing. We have a variety of options: like gluten free spinach crepes, banana bread, yogurt and fruits, or fluffy flourless pancakes with eggs and avocado. After a morning of inner work we will eat a Veggie feijoada with sweet potato & kidney beans, or Mexican bean wraps, or pumpkin & ginger soup. We love international healthy food and we are practicing already the principles of Ayurveda because food is intrinsically in communion with the vital force of the Universe.

An exceptional experience with amazing people

I was treated to an exceptional experience of wellness, awareness and healing. Through drawing, forest walking, a sacred medicine ceremony, and Bruno’s incredible sound work, I reawakened, reconnected and rejuvenated. The setting is stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. I am deeply grateful for their help and wisdom. Highly recommended.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

After participating in more yoga classes and events this year than in my entire life, I am yearning for the opportunity to attend a professional retreat. The opportunity to grow my practice, learn from talented students and teachers, and immerse myself in this gorgeous Red Feather Lakes sanctuary is the dream of a lifetime! Sara
