Experience an authentic Traditional Master Plant Dieta in one of the most untouched regions of the Amazon Rainforest: the Cordillera Azul of San Martín, Peru.

Guided by Maestro Don Gino Chaka Runa, from the Mestizo lineage, this powerful healing program combines 8 Ayahuasca Ceremonies, daily intake of 1 litre of Medicinal/Master Plant teas, and deep jungle isolation to catalyse profound transformation at the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.

Your Dieta unfolds within 44 hectares of pristine rainforest, home to 10 waterfalls, 3 creeks, several natural swimming ponds, defined gravel tracks and trails, wildlife, and sacred medicinal trees.

Participants stay in private ensuite Tambos or Glamping Tents immersed in nature, allowing complete reconnection with the spirit of the rainforest.

Throughout the retreat, you will receive personal guidance from Don Gino, whether in English, Spanish or Italian, ensuring a safe, tailored, and deeply meaningful journey.

The program includes ancient Shipibo, Andean, and Mestizo Icaros, personal Floral Bath, personal Arkana, Rapé servings during and outside the ceremonies, Shamanic Drumming Circle with Don Gino, Opening the Body and Awakening the Warrior morning sessions with Don Gino, nature immersions, and supportive sharing circles after each ceremony, alongside optional add‑ons like: Kambo/Rape/Sananga ceremonies, Visionary Painting/ Charango/ Guitar/ Flute Workshops (first session free).

Directions

The nearest international airport is Lima Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM). From Lima, you will take a short domestic flight (1 hour) to Tarapoto Airport (TPP), which is the closest airport to our Ecovillage.

Once you arrive in Tarapoto, our team will meet the group on the first day of your program for breakfast at the designated meeting point, and then accompany you to the Ecovillage. The drive from Tarapoto to Lejía/Shamboyacu (San Martín) takes approximately 3–4 hours through the beautiful Amazonian landscape.

Guests only need to book their flight to Lima and Tarapoto and a hotel in Tarapoto for the night before the retreat. All transportation between Tarapoto and the Healing Center is included and organized by our team.

Accommodation

Guests stay in Private Ensuite Tambos or Private Ensuite Glamping Tents, each nestled deep in the Amazon Rainforest for a fully immersive experience. All units are built with eco-friendly local materials, designed to harmonize with nature while providing the essentials needed for a safe and comfortable Dieta. Each Tambo and Glamping include an elevated wooden platform, private bathroom with running water, a flushing toilet, a natural wooden sink, and an open shower. Solar-powered water heaters and a biodigester system support sustainable living. Tambos are traditional wooden structures with no solid walls - only fine mosquito netting - allowing you to hear, feel, and breathe the jungle. Glamping tents offer waterproof comfort with panoramic openings and a private deck. All units are furnished with a bed, mattress, beddings and towels, bathroom and bedside rugs, wooden log nightstand, hammock (tambo only) and terrace chair, table, chair, wooden shelves, a large water dispenser and rechargeable light bulb. There is no cell service or internet, ensuring a deep retreat into silence and connection with nature. These raw yet beautiful spaces support the essence of Dieta: simplicity, introspection, and communion with Mother Earth.
