Full DescriptionYoga inversions are poses that hold your heart higher than your head, and in some cases, your feet are higher than your head! Salamba Sirsasana (Headstand) and Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand) are two of the most relaxing, rejuvenating and revitalizing yoga poses, yet going upside down can be daunting. This workshop is appropriate for students who have been practicing Iyengar Yoga for at least six months or another system of yoga for a year or more. This workshop is not appropriate for beginners, for those with shoulder or neck injuries or students with untreated low blood pressure.
