About this Retreat
Cozette was born and raised in the French Alps, with a few years spent in the United States.
Always drawn to teaching, she began sharing knowledge naturally, even teaching English to her classmates during school recess. She later graduated with a Master's degree in International Communication and Project Management.
Always physically active, Cozette nonetheless found herself, at the age of 23, dealing with chronic knee fatigue and back pain.
This moment became a turning point, leading her to her first yoga class, a path that would profoundly transform not only her body, but her way of living. As her posture changed, so did her relationship to life.
Through movement, precision, and awareness, she gradually shifted from simply watching life go by to fully waking up and embodying it.
With over 1,000 hours of training from teachers around the world, and a deep commitment to continued study, Cozette's teaching blends technical precision, clear pedagogy, and embodied philosophy.
She is known for her structured and accessible approach, helping students understand not only how to practice, but why.
She believes yoga is not about escaping life, but about learning how to meet it, with strength, clarity, and presence.
She sees yoga as a maieutic path: a practice that helps individuals uncover what is already present, rather than adding something new.
Cozette simply loves life, and she loves sharing it.

Details of this retreat
Aegialis School of Yoga welcomes you to explore a more gentle approach to yoga asana practice with this 100-hour Yin yoga instructor training. This is a combined training where you will learn how to lead Yin Yoga classes and also how to lead guided meditations.
This Yin Yoga training sits at the meeting point between modern science and Chinese tradition.
Through daily Yin and movement practices, as well as meditative explorations, the training invites you to slow down and listen — to your body, your breath, and your nervous system. We explore how long-held postures affect the fascia, energetic pathways, and our inner landscape.
The training includes daily Yin Yoga and meditation practices, an introduction to fascial anatomy, an introduction to Chinese meridians, bridges between Chinese tradition and the latest science, a deeper understanding of the nervous system, and the tools to safely teach a complete Yin Yoga class.
Open to all levels, this training is an invitation to curiosity, sensitivity, and self-observation, and to meeting yourself within stillness.
Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be eligible to receive their Yoga Alliance International “Yin yoga instructor and guided meditation” certification, which will allow them to teach Yin yoga internationally, as well as a certificate of completion from Aegialis School of Yoga.
This certification is a qualification to teach Yin yoga classes and guided meditation styles taught in the training. This does not qualify you as a yoga teacher of any other style of asana practice other than Yin yoga.
By the end of this training, you will be able to structure your Yin yoga sequences and be able to provide a balanced and complete Yin yoga class. There will be daily pranayama and meditation sessions where you can learn to develop consistency in the yogic breathing techniques and focus the mind.
You will also go through the definition of meditation from a yoga philosophy standpoint and study and practice various techniques of concentration or meditation so that you can learn how to guide a meditation session.
In this training, you will be introduced briefly to the foundation of Hatha yoga so that you have a clear understanding that Yin yoga is not a separate practice but a complementary practice of Hatha yoga.
The training is suited for beginners and intermediate-level yoga students and teachers who wish to teach Yin yoga safely and be able to guide meditation sessions.
Yoga equipment will be provided, including natural cork mats and blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, eye pillows, Aerial swings, Iyengar walls, inversion chairs, Tibetan chimes, candles, Tibetan singing bowls, and incense sticks.
