About this Retreat
My name is Samith Osorio, and I'm from Tierralta, Córdoba, Colombia. I was born and raised in a land rich in natural resources, traditions, and teachings that profoundly shaped my worldview. From a young age, I felt a deep connection to nature and a spiritual quest that led me down various paths of learning.
At the age of 17, I had my first encounter with the ancestral medicine of Ayahuasca, an experience that transformed my life and awakened in me a desire to delve deeper into the knowledge of Amazonian indigenous traditions. Driven by this inner calling, I traveled to southern Colombia, to the department of Putumayo, where I had the privilege of meeting a wise elder of the Cofán-Ziona people, Grandfather Curaca Guillermo Lucitante Yaiguaje, and Grandmother Beatriz Lucitante Lucitante, from the Cofán community of Santa Rosa de Sucumbíos.
Under her guidance, I began a learning process based on respect for nature, spirituality, traditional medicine, and the knowledge passed down through generations. During that time, I learned the importance of discipline, humility, and service—fundamental values on the path of ancestral medicine.
Since then, I have continued along this path with dedication and gratitude, seeking to honor the teachings I received and share them responsibly with those who feel called to connect with these traditions. My purpose is to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the appreciation and preservation of ancestral wisdom for future generations, always with respect for Indigenous peoples and their sacred knowledge.
My name is Carmen Jessenia Giagrekudo. I am an Indigenous woman of the Muruy-Muinane ethnic group, born in Chorreras, Amazonas, Colombia. From a very young age, I was blessed to walk alongside my father and grandfather, Rodolfo Giagrekudo Pacaya, who guided and instructed me in the ancestral knowledge of our traditions and sacred medicines.
Over the years, I learned the spiritual value of tobacco, coca, and ayahuasca, as well as the profound respect we must have for nature, the spirits of the jungle, and all forms of life. My upbringing has been based on the teachings of my elders, who instilled in me the importance of serving with humility, responsibility, and love.
Today, at 29, I continue walking this ancestral path with my husband, Taita Samith Osorio. Thanks to the Great Spirit, we have built a beautiful family with our children, who are a constant inspiration to continue strengthening this legacy of wisdom and service.
My purpose is to accompany people on their journeys of spiritual growth, self-discovery, and connection with nature, sharing the teachings I have received from my ancestors and the traditional medicines of our culture. I deeply believe in the power of healing when it is approached with love, respect, awareness, and gratitude.
With humility, I continue to learn every day, honoring the roots of my people and carrying forward the ancestral knowledge entrusted to me, with the desire to contribute to the well-being of those seeking a path of harmony, balance, and connection with the Great Spirit.

In the verdant heart of the jungle, where the air feels pure, like an ancestral melody, we open the doors of our Maloka for this sacred gathering. It is a space built with respect, with the wisdom of our ancestors, to receive the medicine and allow each being to look inward, heal, and reconnect with their essence.
WHAT DOES THIS GATHERING ENTAIL?
The ceremonies are designed as a holistic support process. The medicine of Yagé arrives with its teachings and its purifying power: each person receives the exact healing they need, according to what their body, mind, and heart are ready to release, understand, and transform. It is not the same for everyone, because each path is unique; Here, this process is accompanied by care, attentive listening, and my music, created especially to guide, calm, and open the soul.
During the night, we work in harmony with nature, in silence and respect, allowing the jungle to also be part of the teaching and healing.
OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL SERVICES
For those who wish to prepare further or deepen their understanding before or after the ceremony, we offer cleansing baths and purification processes. These are entirely voluntary and have an additional cost, as they require special preparation and extra dedication. They can be arranged once your attendance is confirmed.
An important reminder: all healing processes require respect, willingness, and an open heart. We take care to create a safe and guided environment so that you can simply focus and experience a beautiful life experience.
