About this Retreat
Details of this retreat
The greatest discoveries are often the ones we make for ourselves. Every moment of your life has been teaching you; this retreat simply slows things down enough for you to notice.
Rather than offering answers, silence creates the space for direct experience to become your teacher. No philosophy can replace what you discover for yourself. When we learn through our own experience—not through belief, opinion, or persuasion—that understanding becomes our own.
This retreat isn’t designed to change your belief system, convince you to adopt a particular spiritual tradition, or replace your understanding of life with someone else’s.
Instead, it offers something perhaps much rarer: the opportunity to spend four uninterrupted days paying close attention to your own direct experience of reality.
For four days, we step away from conversation, technology, reading, writing, and the constant stream of information that usually fills our lives. In their place, we practice silence, mindfulness, gentle movement, walking meditation, nourishing meals, friendly animals, and time in nature by the river.
The silence isn’t about withdrawing from life. It’s about creating enough space for you to notice the power of your own undivided attention.
You won’t be told what you should discover.
You won’t be asked to accept a particular worldview.
Instead, you’ll be invited to investigate your own mind with curiosity, patience, and acceptance.
Some people leave feeling deeply rested. Others find unexpected clarity. Some reconnect with joy, sensation, grief, or the energy of creativity. Every retreat unfolds in its own unique way—exactly as it is supposed to.
Our role is not to tell you what is true.
Our role is to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can discover more deeply what is true for yourself through your own direct experience.
Whether you have never meditated before or have practiced for decades, you are welcome exactly as you are.
Nothing is required except your willingness to be present.
Sometimes, four days of silence can reveal more than months of searching.
