About us

Combine your blissful holiday with self-exploration, experiential learning & deep relaxation

The BioDynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System® is an original and innovative approach to trauma release therapy. It skillfully combines specially designed breathwork techniques, conscious movement, touch, non-cathartic emotional release, sound and meditation.

This Fully Experiential group process and training is designed to safely and consciously remove layers of body armoring, releasing mental, emotional and physical resistance down to your core. As a result, you will intimately re-connect with your true essence and your longing for an open heart. This experience will leave you with ability to intimately connect with yourself and others with presence and authenticity. The BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release® System enables you to experience the full range of sensations and emotions available to you. As a result, you will expand your capacity to contain and support the free flow of your life force energy. This work restructures at a cellular level, by supporting the opening of your spine and ultimately transforms you into being increasingly present and conscious in all areas of your life. Through this opening you will come to a deeper acceptance of yourself and others, celebrating life in its fullest.

Gaia Oasis on Bali’s North Shore has been specifically chosen as a venue for this journey due to the supportive staff, peaceful and ecologically sound environment, beautiful accommodations, and delicious, healthy home cooked food.

Giten Tonkov and Chetana Barkan will support you through your journey with their expertise in working with people, utmost loving care and dedication within a safe and confidential container.

Trauma Release

After exposure to repetitive or individual traumatic events we lose the sense of being grounded and can become tense, numb, and disconnected from life force energy. Re-establishing this sense of inner safety is what makes the release of trauma possible. This training will teach you how to create a “container”- a feeling of being safe in your physical body. This container will allow you to feel your full unrestricted energy flow in a safe and supported way. We will begin to develop the sensitivity necessary to support a BioDynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release session. By working with each other we establish trust which is by far the most important quality of breath-oriented trauma release process.

During this module of the training we will begin to understand the effects that trauma has on us. We will look at the basic anatomy and physiology of trauma. Working with breath and movement we begin to unlock your tension patterns. This will lay the foundation for deeper opening and ultimately living up to your true potential as a whole and integrated being.

In the process of this group workshop we will move deeper into letting go of self-imposed ideas that restrict our body-mind and open to new ways of expression through the body. This will develop our direct body-spirit connection. Allowing your bodies and your inner guide to be your teachers. Thus, embodying your own energy and discovering yourself from within.

The nature of this BioDynamic Breath and Trauma Release Certification Training is fully experiential, it is therefore a deep personal and group process as well as a training. This training is open to everyone wishing to receive a solid base in breathwork and trauma release or for those who simply wish to explore themselves on a personal level and truly open up. There is a growing demand for mastering the art of moving deeply into body-oriented trauma release with skill and sensitivity. This is a wonderful opportunity for advanced and beginner yoga students and teachers, therapists, psychologists, breathworkers and bodyworkers to deepen their understanding and experience of supporting others on the path to transformation. This training is structured as a continuing learning process. Each part can be taken individually or as deeper learning process.

For those participants who wish to continue their training with us, we ask that after completing basic Training Parts 1 & 2, and before beginning Advanced Training 3 & 4, students are required to offer 25 practice sessions free of charge in exchange for feedback (from the volunteer client). This will allow you to gain further and deeper hands-on experience. We also ask that the trainee practitioners attend our webinar modules. Trainees will receive online support from the facilitators periodically.

No previous experience necessary.
