About This Event

Sink into the beauty of California oasis. With hot springs, delicious food and balancing daily yoga, your restoration awaits.

In calm waters and spacious landscapes, we relax deeply. In our breath, we find spaciousness. In our practice, we connect to truest ourselves.

With autumn as our seasonal guide, this weekend is a perfect opportunity to access the inner stability and adaptability we need to thrive during transition. Daily yoga with two of the Bay Area’s favorite yoga instructor’s, Ai Kubo and Mark Silva, will be an invitation for deeper personal balance, presence and empowerment. Feel free to participate as much or little as you like in all we offer: sunrise meditation and pranayama, mid-morning Vinyasa Flow Yoga, mid-day play, optional wine country excursions, biking, hiking, swimming, reading or napping, afternoon mellow Yoga, meditation & pranayama, evening conversation, music and meditation.

Registration will open shortly. Please inquire to (contact info blocked) if you are interested in signing up.

Our home for the weekend is Mayacamas Ranch, nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Calistoga. With a salt water pool, local hiking trails, a fireside lounge, organic garden, delicious meals and abundant fresh air, Mayacamas is loved and considered a special oasis by many.

Surrounded by 360 degree views of Mt. St. Helena and the Mayacamas Mountains, take in some of the most breathtaking views in the wine region while lounging and swimming in the salt water pool and jacuzzi. Enjoy luxurious accommodations, exquisite organic farm-to-table cuisine, and the peaceful land and the company of like–minded fellow yogis during the gorgeous harvest time in Napa Valley.

We start on Friday afternoon at 4:30pm with a grounding Vinyasa Flow Yoga class and end with lunch after a morning practice on Sunday afternoon. Take a break from the busyness of life, treat yourself by immersing yourself with the practice of yoga that is refreshing, renewing, and rejuvenating. Just an hour and a half from San Francisco and East Bay, once here you’ll feel a world away. This will be an extremely intimate retreat with a small group of students, so you will get LOTS of TLC from both Mark and Ai. Treat yourself for a rejuvenating weekend!

      Sicily MAy 2019

I went on the Sicily yoga retreat a week or so ago and I was supremely disappointed. First off, they sent out the wrong dates. I had booked about 9 moths in advance - that is simply unacceptable for an international trip. Luckily, my hotels at the beginning were refundable and my flight from NYC was early enough that no big calamity happened, other than me having to waste my time rebooking flights - which, they initially said that they would reimburse. When I tried to get details and compensation, Ben didn't return my call and my emails were not answered. They finally said that they would pay for my additional night in Sicily before the retreat, and lo and behold, when I went to check out, they had not paid nor made any arrangements. What kind of crap is that? At the retreat, the yoga was barely there and the classes were cancelled a lot. They had a women's only morning class that excluded the 2 guys there - totally unnecessary and kind of horrific. They said that there would be a men's only class, but that didn't happen. The teacher, Kate van Horn, was not good and did not have a presence whatsoever. These were some of the worst yoga classes that I have ever taken. She tried to incorporate some of Taryn Toomey's moves as well - and did that very poorly. This retreat was a colossal waste of time and money. I would not recommend this to anyone. The company is inept and horrific. Don't be fooled by their slick promotions. The only way that I was able to recoup anything was because I still owed them half the fees and they just discounted that. Most people did not get anything back. They promised to repay folks for the changes, but they did not. TERRIBLE COMPANY!

Thank you!

We're glad you've joined our retreat community. See you around :)
