Upon arrival to our Sacred Valley Center, which is nestled in the mountains on the expansive banks of the Urubamba River, you are greeted by our loving staff of facilitators and healers. This center is a community of loving healers.

The serene and mystical Sacred Valley of Peru is considered one of the most energetically powerful places on Earth. We find that simply being in the presence of the ancient Andean mountains, historical archeological zones, and crisp air, offers wisdom and deep nourishment for the mind, body, and spirit.

At Arkana Spiritual Center, we work closely with indigenous shamans and our staff of healers to bring you a comprehensive program deeply rooted in the traditional practices of ancestral medicine. We offer a safe, caring, and effective space to begin your journey of transformation, helping you every step of the way as you uncover the energetic roots of any trauma, negative thought patterns, unhealthy habits, or spiritual imbalance.

Directions

Flight Information
• Nearest Airport: Cusco Alejandro Velasco Astete International (CUZ)
• Inbound: We recommend flying in the day prior to the start of the retreat so you can get settled in.
• Outbound: You can fly out any time after 3 pm on the last day of the retreat (Saturday). We recommend staying overnight in Cusco and flying out on Sunday.
• Preferred Airlines LATAM or Sky Airlines since they are the most reliable.
• Immigration & Customs: If you are incoming from abroad, you will have to clear customs and immigration in Lima. This means you will need to pick up your bags from baggage claim and re-check them for your domestic flight to Iquitos. Please allow sufficient time in the layover for this.

Ground Transportation: We provide a complimentary shuttle to/from the Center from Cusco.

• Dropoff: Saturday 11:30 pm in Cusco

Traveling alone? No problem; single visitors will be assigned one roommate of the same gender during their stay in one of our comfortable double rooms. If you are coming with a friend who is registering separately and would like to room together, simply request him in your registration. Beautiful, Magical Week

I've had other experiences with the medicine before, but Arkana truly blew me away. This was a medicine retreat, but it also felt like a life transformation retreat in general. The level of care and attention they put into every activity blew me away. The care from the facilitators and comfort I felt during ceremonies is enough for me to recommend this place to others, but there are so many reasons why this place is amazing.

I’ve attended twice for weeks in the amazon location, as well as visited the sacred valley. If you are considering or feel the call for this ancient powerful plant medicine, look no further. A Journey of Self Acceptance

When I received my work bonus at the end of November, I knew that it was meant to go to some sort of healing retreat. Call it coincidence, call it a synchronicity; whatever it was, it was the catalyst that paved the path for me to begin my search for deep healing. After investigating other centers I found Arkana. Something about the location, the vibration, the message of the center deeply resonated with me. I felt as if I would be departing on a spirit quest. All of those thoughts and feelings were confirmed. I can't express a single element of the journey that I would deem as "bad". From the food, lodging, and overall logistics of the experience I felt completely taken care of. I felt safe to do the work. But the deeper elements of the experience; The Shamans, Facilitators, and the medicine that was experienced, all of these things changed me in a way that to write about would be to lessen the experience itself. Arkana helped me see that the place itself was not the medicine. Even the medicine itself wasn't the thing that brought me deep healing. It was the turning into myself and finding the light inside of myself that I hadn't seen for many years. I cannot recommend enough this sacred place to those considering. If you are hearing the call, answer it. Your future version will thank you eternally. Much love friends on your journey and may you find the peace and healing you are calling in.

Highly recommend Arkana Amazon – As a solo female traveler, everything felt safe from the accommodations, the facilitators and staff, and even the individuals called to the facility during the week I was there. The shamans were genuine and held a strong container for all the energies of the ceremony nights. And while it will differ for each person, I found the ceremonies to be intense, difficult at points, but completely life-changing. (Even a month out, I can recognize inner changes that are going to be so helpful on my path forward.) Like all the other reviews mention, the food was fantastic, the staff from the local village incredibly friendly, and the facilitators positive and helpful.
