To expand our minds and come to greater understanding of our true selves, is the basis for our six day retreat. Everything is an interwoven journey during the ayahuasca retreat. We practice different meditations from the continent to balance the mind, to be centered and as a respect to our ancient ancestral teachings. We prepare journeyers to communicate with the consciousness of the plant spirits, liberate themselves, help them return to their true paths and knowledge of self. During the entire experience our compassionate shaman and the assistants will be there to keep the space sacred and safe. The grounds are in a natural setting where life is simple and easy, listen to nature, see the stars at night, watch the animals and connect with the plants.
Day 1: All participants must arrive in Cusco, Peru. We transport everyone to the centre from the designated location by 5:00PM. It is important this day that a light lunch is your last meal, following the diet. We will have an introduction to the retreat this night.
Day 2: This will be the first ceremony day. During the retreats we practice a vow of silence. This is important to help us practice meditation and mindfulness, and we will guide those who are new to the practice. All will have a consultation with the shaman this day before the ayahuasca ceremony.
All of our ceremonies are guided by the shaman or shamans with Icaros and special instruments.
Day 3: We begin the day, after breakfast, with a conversation translating your experience to the shaman. From this they may analyze and guide you in where you should focus your meditation for the next ceremony. There is a Cardinal Points Meditation this day followed by a light lunch. In the afternoon there will be time to meditate and absorb the wondrous surroundings until the ceremony. Energy Pathways Meditation is before the ayahuasca ceremony.
We always recommend to bring any type of journal, drawing books or spirituality/meditation oriented books which encourage healing.
Day 4: There will be a conversation with the shaman to start the day and breakfast. Each participant will have a meditation to focus on for the day. It is a large undertaking to reset your system through plant medicines and we focus on making sure this process is gentle for your mind, body and spirit. San Pedro Vision Quest and/or illumination process therapy and explanation by Alberto.
Day 5: Today is an important time to really focus on connecting with your spirit and giving gratitude to the earth. We will have a humble Peruvian Ceremony to give thanks to the earth for the medicine it gives. During yoga we will balance our physical bodies, build strength and flexibility for our lives. We will have light breakfast and lunch this day to nourish ourselves and have energy for the upcoming final ayahuasca ceremony.
Day 6: We begin this day with ease, a filling clean breakfast and start the conversation with the shaman. There will be time to ask any questions you may have. At 12:00 PM we will arrive to the airport.
*Other arrangements may be made if you would like to head to stay longer, need to leave earlier in the morning, etc. Please contact us for questions.
We are located in the Sacred Valley with a 360 view of the Andes mountains surrounding the center. A two hour hike up the mountain leads visitors to an ancient Inca site. The Urubamba river runs through the valley and in front of the retreat, there is ample nature and eucalyptus trees around. For those interested, a short walk from the center are mineral pools for a hot day. Our location is a marvelous place to sit back and enjoy nature while disconnecting from the busy lives we often lead and reconnect into ourselves.

During the retreat we follow a strict diet to accommodate the plant medicines and healing of mind, body and soul. There is very little salt, sugar, no spices, no caffeine, no chocolate, nothing artificial and smaller portions. Breakfasts are with fresh fruits and a grain such as quinoa or oatmeal. Lunches are a mixture of vegetables, roots, quinoa or rice and some light legumes. The diet is balanced to give enough protein, fiber and most of all energy to our participants while they are working with master plants.
Accommodations are shared. There is the option for private rooms and rooms for couples or people traveling together. We separate the rooms between male and female. There are hot showers and shared bathrooms. Outside we have various hammocks, garden space for yoga and meditation. The dining room is always open to enjoy tea and relax. Ceremony space is available during the day as well.
We have a driver picking up participants from a designated location in Cusco. When booking is confirmed we send out further directions on how to get to the meeting place from Cusco airport or the main Plaza de Armas. Pick up is at 5PM the day the retreat starts and the journey to the center is an hour, sometimes more if there is traffic in Cusco.
