Vino Vinyasa: A Maya Yoga Retreat with Nicki Doane
About This Event
Looking to spend a week relaxing in the south of Italy, doing yoga, eating amazing food, and enjoying the “Bella Vita” (the beautiful life) that the Mediterranean is so known for? The pace of life is slower in Italy, so it’s the perfect place to slow down and savor this incredible yoga retreat. Join Nicki Doane in Puglia Italia for a week of relaxing, inspiring, and fun yoga classes. The schedule of the retreat will be relaxed with classes in the morning and late afternoon. The rest of the day can be spent as you like; eating, napping, exploring, bike-riding, relaxing by the pool, hiking, or just lying around and reading a great book. Maybe you want to take a technology break and use this time to connect with real people doing real things. There is something special about living together as a group for a week, practicing yoga, sharing food, talking, and drinking wine together. This yoga retreat is a way to reconnect not only with yourself but with your practice again. Sometimes life gets so busy that we don’t make time for the important things in life. Use this retreat to get back into your practice and be inspired to continue once you get back home.

This retreat center is located in Puglia, in the southern Italy. The NY Post calls this region magical and Lonely Planet put it in its 2014 must-see places list. This area is full of historic and cultural sites. Beautiful beaches are easily accessible. Martina Franca, the closest town, has a particularly beautiful old town surrounded by stone walls with prominent Baroque gates leading to piazzas and narrow, winding streets.

I have been working with True Nature Education over the past 6 months. There is such a sense of community amongst the staff and I love the abundance of knowledge that is passed along from these retreat gurus! The staff has been especially helpful and motivating me throughout my promotion of Explorations of Self: A Costa Rica Yoga Experience Jan 17-24, 2014 (My first retreat in Costa Rica). I definitely believe this is a good way to go if you are new to teaching internationally or want to continue and grow with an amazing group of spiritual and intellectual people. Thanks a million, TNE!
