    3:00pm Juice

6:00pm – Meditation and Inquiry 6:30pm – Dinner or Juice

Evening: Rest and relaxation, watch inspirational/educational DVDs. During your retreat we also usually schedule a half a day (or longer) of structured silence, which includes guided and silent meditations, mindfulness walks, group breathwork.

You can add on many other options such as other types of healing sessions from our healing therapies page, board games, collage making, art, journaling, raw foods prep class, or just do nothing and simply be.

    What to bring:

Day pack (small backpack), flashlight, flip flops or open shoe for easy slip on and off (warm slippers for winter months), sturdy shoe for hiking/walking, body brush (or sponge), optional swim suit for Harbin and spa, water bottle, layered comfortable clothing, sunscreen, mosquito repellent. Bring your own toiletries (cosmetics) including lotion for after water/spa use – we suggest ecologically friendly products. We provide toilet paper, soap, bathrobes, towels and of course bedding. You may want to bring a journal and a book to read, we also have an extensive library with a great selection of spiritual books.

No use of cigarettes, marijuana, alcohol, or other recreational drugs.

There is some cell phone reception at the location. You may use our landline 707-965-2993 for checking your messages and brief calls. We strongly recommend you take a break from your computer and cell phone to experience a deeper retreat for yourself. However, we have Wi-Fi on the property available at your request; so if you need to use Internet, you may bring your laptop, cell phone or tablet.

Please refrain from using scented body care products and perfumes, as other guests may be sensitive. Pure essential oils are okay. Come experience yourself as you are naturally.

Retreat check in time: 12 -1 pm.

Retreat check out time: We request that your luggage be cleared from your room by noon, if there is a next person arriving to occupy a room. However, you are welcome to stay on the property and enjoy the facilities until 5 pm.

How do I prepare for my retreat?

We recommend a practice of becoming more conscious of your emotions and negative reactive patterns. Be very aware of your reactivity, especially in relationships with others. Observe and be more present when you engage in self-destructive behaviors.

Notice that some resistance may arise for you, when you engage in your healing process, especially just before coming to the retreat. The old patterns may not want to go away easily and may create more defensiveness and opposition.

You may even have an urge to give up before you start the retreat and find some justifications to do so.

Please do not get discouraged, keep witnessing and refraining from harsh judgments as much as you can. If it’s helpful, you may also keep a journal

of your healing and transformation process.

We also recommend to begin or to continue daily sitting meditation practice.

If this is challenging for you, do not worry, you will be getting lots of instructions and guidance during the retreat

How do I prepare for my juice fast retreat? – Also suggested even when you are not planning a juice cleanse.

In order to receive more benefits from your cleanse, you should be eliminating acidic foods like: processed foods, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, meat, dairy and wheat from your diet, at least 2-3 days before the retreat or earlier. Eat more alkaline, whole foods such as: salads, vegetables, fruits, almonds, quinoa, red rice. Drink plenty of fresh water, at

    least 8 glasses a day.
