Embodied Wisdom: Returning Back to Being

About us

IDEAL FOR: All levels including beginners.

As caregivers, service providers, and advocates, our focus tends to be outward facing: we focus on the doing, rather than the being that allows us to do our work in a way that sustains and fills us. At some point, we became human doings instead of human beings.

In this daylong retreat, we’ll return back to the body, exploring embodied wisdom practices to bring us back to self. We will engage in mindful movement, meditation and compassionate dialogue and practice in an effort to support our sustainability. The mindful yoga practice will be accessible to all bodies and led with a sensitivity to any participants who may have some history of trauma. The compassionate dialogue will be done in dyads and small group discussions.

Tuition is $125 and includes lunch.
