Choose your own arrival data and spend a week in a one of a kind retreat that combines relaxation with rejuvenating exercise and delicious, healthy food. This was a lovely retreat in a very serene setting- I managed to rest but at the same time , be active in sports. The hike . yoga and wine tasting were the key highlights for me. The organization of the program is superb. Great food. Thank you so much. When I posted my pics on facebook, several people were interested, and one friend has already booked to come this August.

I spent 3 days with 2 girlfriends doing a mix of yoga, fitness classes and poolside lounging and had an absolutely wonderful time. I had 3 yoga teachers over the 3 days, all excellent but especially the visiting yoga teacher (thanks Pam!). The yoga is well taught and well adjusted for different levels - we had a range from beginner's to advanced in the class and all were looked after. The room we had was large, clean and airy with good aircon. What marks this holiday out is the attention to detail with the owner and staff all wishing to ensure you have everything you need to have a great time. The all food is delicious with a meat and veggie option. Portions were a little on the small side for dinner for my friends and I (fine for breakfast and lunch) after several hours of workouts, but we simply added a cheese or pudding course from the a la carte menu (the menu is 2 courses). Great local wines (extra) with dinner on a terrace with a beautiful view overlooking the hills. It was perfect and I will be going back to try the horse riding which is 3 mins walk away.

Very nice location with a stunning view! Calm and relaxing. Lovely and clean rooms provided with coffee and tea. Super nice trainers – very personal and professional! Fun activities such as wine tasting and spritz demo. :) Only small downside was the food in the restaurant: healthy and delicious, but a bit too little after working out the whole day. But all in all, it was an amazing experience and we will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic yoga retreat wit Tuscan Fitness. It was me and my wife's first retreat, and it couldn't have been better. We are Yoga beginners but that wasn't an issue. David at Tuscan fitness was a super host, very attentive and full of ideas for how to make our time in Tuscany unforgettable. The instructors (we had Patricia and Julie) were fantastic. We enjoyed getting to spend some time with them during breakfast and during class. We had a cross fit style workout one day and it pushed us to our limit...in a great way. The facility (La Fora) could not be any nicer. Simple and charming but with everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your vacation time. The scenery of the Tuscan country side is breathtaking. The atmosphere is very quiet and serene. The pool and surrounding shaded cabanas were a great touch as we escaped the afternoon Tuscan summer heat. We went on a wine and olive oil tasting trip about 20mins away and it was a highlight. We left La Fora thinking this was the best kept secret in Tuscany. The whole experience was wonderful and couldn't have asked for a better time. Thanks to David and team at Tuscan Fitness!

Authentic Tuscan countryside experience. The natural beauty of Tuscan Fitness at La Forra was beyond works. Perched on top of a rolling hill in the Chianti region, with surrounding views of valleys, hill side towns and villas it offers the perfect environment for those who love the combination of fitness and the outdoors. If you feel like hiking, horseback riding, cycling, practising yoga, fitness training or simply relaxing by the pool sipping wine or enjoying an espresso with a good book, the options are endless. The day is yours to enjoy. For Foodies, La Cucina de La Forra is a full Resturant with delicious, healthy farm to table meals for all dietary needs. I should admit that this retreat exceeded my expectations to the extreme. The location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by lush beautiful gardens, nicely decorated rooms, beautiful swimming pools and perfect outdoor and indoor yoga flat. I got a complementary ride from and to the train station. Staff were incredibly helpful, yoga instructors, chef, Dave and Alex were super friendly and resourceful. I had a remarkable experience there and can’t wait to go back again.

I was fortunate to get to go to Tuscan fitness, the whole experience was top notch! From the moment my friend and I arrived till the time we left we loved every minute at Tuscan Fitness. Great yoga, HIIT, and hiking and then amazing cooking class and wine tastings. Everything was thought out and everyone was so accommodating. Loved having animals on site and the scenery was amazing. A must go if you like nature, fitness and wine!

My daughters and I had the privilege of enjoying Tuscan Fitness last week - to celebrate her upcoming marriage and wedding day next month. We were joined by my daughter in law and friends of Michaella , the bride to be. I cannot express how utterly tranquil and delightful the retreat is. It's stunningly beautiful , perched high up on the hills, with Olive Trees and a few horses close by ! The yoga classes were amazing, the rooms were gorgeous, the chef was so lovely and sweet- the food delicious ! The owners did everything they could to make our stay memorable and precious. Alex, the owner was lovely as was Patrizia , and all the staff. We all want to go back , and hopefully we can . I have rated it 5 stars out of 5 because I honestly cannot think of anything they could have done to make us feel more welcome and looked after. Bravo !

What a stunning place! I was recently there on a hen weekend with 7 other girls and it was just perfect! Very comfortable accommodation with great showers. Food was great- very healthy but delicious. Really enjoyed the yoga and fitness classes the teachers were really excellent! The owners were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Just wished we could have stayed longer!

I first went to Tuscan Fitness in 2016. Already that time I was impressed by the great team behind the programme which remained a remarkable memory among the retreats I attended over the last years..hence the reason for going back again with the view to have some time off from a busy life among nice people and surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan landscape. I have to say that I was equally pleased this time too and also very happy to find the same friendly faces making sure the programme suits everyone’s needs. The genuine care and flexibility to ensure all participants get what they want during their retreat is quite unique in my experience. I loved the variety of yoga sessions, the workouts and the hikes! The meals prepared by La Forra’s very kind chef were all delicious 😋 The only tiny suggestion I would have is maybe to have a lighter meal version for those who want to lose weight and not just stay fit during their time at TF...and to compensate for the unforgettable home made peanut butter prepared by Alix over breakfast which I would not cut down by any means:) Big thank you to the entire team and hope to be back soon!:)

The team offered a variety yoga, they listened to the groups needs & the teaching standard very high. The hotel is in stunning location with beautiful views. Tuscan Fitness team have the balance of variety of activities, timing and enough time to relax and enjoy the views. Dennoch möchte ich euch sagen, weshalb ich mir wohl auch künftig immer mal wieder einen Abstecher an diesen entspannt-sportlichen Ort gönnen werde, der für meinen Gusto schlicht perfekt ist. Das super-sympathischen Team begleitet seine Gäste vom Anfang bis zum Schluss so herzlich und engagiert, dass man am liebsten für immer bleiben will ;-). Alix zum Beispiel ist eine begnadete Yogalehrerin, die auch immer mal wieder für ihre Gäste eine Süssigkeit aus dem Backofen zaubert. Mit David wandert man über Stock und Stein, und auch wenn er nicht in Italien aufgewachsen ist, weiss er doch alles über die Region, sowie ihre Fauna und Flora. Paolo ist immer für ein Spässchen aufgelegt und kann sogar während seinen HIIT-Klassen noch sprechen, während unsereinsnach –nach Luft schnappend und vor Schweiss tropftend - nach einer Stunde intensivem Training wieder weiss, wo jeder Muskel sitzt. Aber auch die Location ist grandios: Die wunderschönen, renovierten Steinhäuschen des "Hotels" streuen sich über einen Hügel, von dem aus man die halbe Toscana bewundern kann. Der grosse Garten ist mit Olivenbäumen, Kräutern und Blumen übersät, es duftet nach Rosmarin und die Zikaden zirrpen einen allabendlich in den Schlaf. Letztendlich gefällt mir einfach das ganze Konzept von Tuscan Fitness: Denn auch wenn das Essen das angeboten wird, gesund ist und es sehr sportlich her und zu geht, darf man am Abend ohne schlechtes Gewissen ein Gläschen Wein trinken oder sich am Pool einen Prosecco zum Apéro gönnen. Noch mehr: Für Weinliebhaber werden gar regelmässig Weindegustationen bei Weinbauern der Umgebung angeboten. Darum kurz und bündig: Tuscan Fitness, I'll be back ;-).

This is a lovely location in the mountains, with lovely rooms, great food and wine, and a very caring and friendly staff. The yoga teachers were skilled and the sessions were more than I expected. I learnt about different types of yoga, and experienced the beauty of watching and learning from artists in their skill. The additional sessions of HiiT and Barre tested my fitness, and the hike gave me a chance to get to know my fellow guests, and I feel I made real connections. I cannot wait to go back in March.

My sister and I spent 4 days, 3 nights at Tuscan Fitness this October (we purchased the pamper package). We left the retreat feeling fulfilled, relaxed and accomplished. The Tuscan Fitness team was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating throughout the entirety of our stay. From the beautiful location in Tuscany to the activities (especially morning yoga on the yoga deck!) and the delicious healthy food, it was all around 5 star! We are already planning our trip back next year!

I initially booked for 4 days and ended up adding another day because it was so fabulous. The way the staff bring you all together, especially at meal times, meant everyone quickly got to know each other, shared common experiences and we all felt well supported. The yoga sessions, twice a day, were excellent. We had two yoga teachers, with different styles, and that proved great as you learn more and get added perspectives. The location is stunning. Imagine doing yoga outdoors as you watch the sun rising or setting over a Tuscan valley. All staff members were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were great. We all eat in the restaurant and I took the opportunity to "go vegetarian" and the meals were fresh and varied and substantial, but Tuscan cooking is never fussy nor complex, just good fresh food with a great local wine. This was more than just a short holiday, it was a complete and deeply rewarding experience and I made some great friends. Highly recommended, especially if you are travelling alone and into yoga.

It was was absolute delight. Memorable views, best ones in the Valley. Outstanding facilities and home hearted host Patrizio at the restaurant. Finally a place with healthy Mediterranean cuisine. Versatile activities offer and highly qualified trainers July and Paolo, who cared a lot about their guests. David arranged great hikes and wine/olive oil tasting trips. Patricia at reception was very helpful in arranging transport to the mall and her driver Ricardo was absolutely amazing in terms of timing, convenience and fun ;). 1000% recommendation! Try it if you haven’t yet!!!

I do not usually post reviews. I am not very good in written form but I couldn't not review Tuscan Fitness. My friend and I went for a week at the end of september and we had the most wonderful holiday. The people here a so lovely. So warm and welcoming and fun to be around. The outdoor yoga platform was a beautiful location. We had the pleasure of being taught by Julie from Denmark who was standing in for Alix while we were there. She is a Anukalana yoga teacher. A form of yoga that I hadn't heard of and is relatively new. It renewed my enthusiasm for yoga and was taught beautifully. I would recommend anyone to try it if they get the opportunity. Paulo taught yoga too and the HIIT classes. He was a delight be be around and was great fun. We also had the pleasure of guided walks through the most beautiful Tuscan countryside with David. Good fun and so much knowledge of the area and the plants. Breakfast was probably the best part of the day. The view from the restaurant was like a painting. So perfectly stunning it was almost unreal and the chef was so attentive and friendly. I have never felt so relaxed and restored following the week I spent with Tuscan fitness. Although I don't often like to go to the same place twice, I do wonder if I might make an exception here.

This was our second visit to Tuscan Fitness - so that is probably recommendation enough! They offer a great opportunity to recharge the batteries (mentally and physically). Their programme is very flexible - you can stay for as many days as you like. There were 2 yoga teachers when we stayed, each with their own approach which was a great balance and by seeing the contrast it helped me to appreciate the movements of both approaches much better. It is not "hard core". They need to cater for some people who are almost complete beginners and others who have done a lot of yoga, but they manage this well. The daily HIIT classes were fun and got the heart rate up and the 2 pools are very nice. There were couples staying when we were there and quite a few single women who were either travelling through Europe or had just dropped in for a recharge. The food is good, with 2 or 3 choices. Everyone eats together at one table but you can be as sociable or not as you choose! The property is in a lovely location, the rooms are comfortable but rustic, so don't expect 5* spa luxury. However, everything is provided and the people who run Tuscan Fitness are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay.

I had a fabulous few days at Tuscan Fitness. When I arrived was given a beautiful apartment which was overlooking the Tuscan hills! The Fitness schedule is perfect, you can do as much as you feel. All the staff were amazing, I loved the yoga and HIT and the hikes with Dave. I met some lovely people and it’s really social to share the table with other guests at mealtimes - the food was plentiful and veggie / healthy options / half portions were always an option (so much choice) I will be returning... This was a great experience. I like the set-up and the structure of the retreat, with a regular programme of yoga, HIIT workouts and hikes, which you can go to or not as you choose, and other activities like wine-tasting as well! It's organised but flexible, so that you can really do what you like. The setting is very beautiful, on a hill overlooking a Tuscan valley, and it was lovely to do yoga in the morning in such a scenic spot. Everyone working there is friendly and helpful, and the yoga/HIIT teachers gave us some great classes, which could be tailored to requests (e.g. more gentle/more intense etc). I liked the incorporation of the mental aspects of yoga as well in the classes. The food is extremely tasty. My friend and I had a very nice, relaxing few days here!

After driving myself and getting terribly lost, I was rescued by the receptionist that helped me find my way to the retreat. She was exceptionally genuine and caring - and I found the same applied to everyone that works there. There was no pressure to do any or all of the activities provided and my stay was driven by what I wanted to get out of it. The yoga is set in a beautiful location and everyone was there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The food was absolutely superb - healthy and nourishing. The accommodation was clean and had everything you need - which is hard considering it's an old building. Thank you so very much for making my brief stay so calming and memorable (for the right reasons).

Dear Tuscan Fitness Team We came the second time to your beautiful place and enjoyed it very much. It is a unique spot and the surrounding and area is amazing. Unfotunately this time the weather wasn't great which didn't allow us to hang out at the pool. Nevertheless, we were able to explore a bit Montevarchi and other towns which we didn't last time. The Yoga is just great. We love Alix's Yoga style, unfortunately this time she wasn't able to teach for obvious reasons. Her deputy (Deb) from the US did also a great Job and was a very good replacement. We love the Yoga deck (even during heavy thunder storm). The rooms are always nice and clean with beautiful little spots to hang out and enjoy the beautiful view to the valley. The people attendig (women only :-) are always interesting to meet and chat and immediatley one feels comfortable and involved. It's a nice set-up, especially for people travelling on their own. We would have liked to see different menues on the plate than last time and found the food a bit repeating... we would also have liked it a bit more spicey and sometimes less dry... for me there is a bit room for improvement in chosing the menues and the cooking - especially in Italy where the food is always great. It would be nice to have a bit more variety in the Fitness area (not only HIT). But we definetly love Tuscan Fitness, will recommend further to our friends and might come back next year. I had the best sleep ever! Alix, David and team were lovely. They went out of their way to communicate from the time I booked my stay and during to make sure I had a good vacation. Thank you! Really loved this retreat! The location and views was amazing, and the yoga and other other activities really made it a perfect combo of healthy and relaxing! Hikes were really great to get to take in the amazing views and great for learning a bit about the region, and the wine-tasting at a local vineyard was lovely. Food is really amazing, but very healthy, and they are really good with vegetarian/vegan options. All the staff (administrative, instructors, restaurant +++) were really lovely! The instructors might vary, but the ones that were there during my stay gave us a good yoga workout - just what you need before lots of great italian food. You can choose the lenght of your stay (perfect for me, I stayed 5 days), and if you want to participate in all the classes or just relax by the pool or in a hammock (I participated i all except one). This is not an exclusive retreat-place, there are other guests staying in the same hotel, but I really felt that was nice. I travelled on my one, and everyone that was there the same time as me also did - all lovely people. Definately recomended!

I have been on several fitness/bootcamp holidays but Tuscan Fitness has been the best one so far. Firstly, the location is absolutely stunning and the accommodation is superb. Secondly, the activities during the retreat are varied, fun but still challenging. Most days start with yoga on the deck overlooking the Tuscan countryside (beautiful). You can then do a HIT-style class mid-morning followed by a hike mid-afternoon and/or another yoga session. The programme builds in plenty of time for sunbathing and social activities such as, wine tasting - all of which are included in the price. Mealtimes are brilliant too because you have a range of dishes to pick from, it's delicious food and the wine is (obviously) really good. However, the best thing about this retreat is the people who run it - Alix, David, Paolo, Kylie - you will find it hard to meet a more relaxed, inclusive and thoughtful group of leaders. One of them is always nearby making sure you're having the best possible holiday. They are a special team and they create a very special holiday for you. I only stayed for 3 nights but I wish I'd picked the 6 night option. It was a fantastic experience.

I had the best time, I enjoyed all the activities, the food was amazing and could order wine of you fancied. My friends and I returned this May 2018 after first visiting Tuscan Fitness in 2016. We had a great time, with a good balance of yoga, healthyfood, walking and fresh air. Although we love the health focus, we returned as this is a relaxed place that doesnt frown if you to enjoy like all the food and drink aspects of Italy too. Lovely stay, the ladies from London will be back! All instructors are great and I found Cali's style of yoga perfect for me. and thank youto Paolo for encouraging me through HIIT! See you in 2019 x

I stayed at Tuscan fitness a few weeks ago at the start of April, and had an unforgettable few days, being made to feel incredibly welcome from the get-go by Alix, David and Paolo. What I particularly loved was that it wasn't what some may view as a 'typically intense yoga retreat'. There was a full schedule of classes to occupy you throughout the day (and I loved that this was a blend of Yoga, HIIT, Barre and hiking in the Tuscan hills), but equally there was no pressure to attend if you would rather spend the hour reading on one of their viewpoint benches, or taking a dip in the swimming pool, which has probably one of the best views to swim in that I've ever seen (I was so sad that i didn't get to experience it myself because the volatile weather meant it wasn't open yet). The day was broken up by a sociable breakfast, lunch and dinner in their on-site restaurant which was always so enjoyable to meet and chat with the other retreaters - all from a wide array of nationalities and with their own unique stories of what brought them to Tuscan Fitness. Also, the food was aplenty! A buffet of fruit, yoghurt, granola, toast, eggs for Breakfast; and a generous starter and main for Lunch and Dinner (if you're on a diet you do have the option to halve the portions - I did not). Each day the food was uniquely different and delicious, all made with fresh ingredients. I also enjoyed that they offered additional evening classes on a few of the days. Whilst I was there I made fresh ravioli, and wine tasting at a local vineyard - we bought a couple of bottles to take back with us for dinner that night. I'm gutted I missed out on the olive oil tasting. The only thing I would have changed is that I probably went a week or two early, as the weather was overcast one day, and rainy the next (but I did have two days of brilliant sunshine). This meant they hadn't opened the pool up yet and we did all our classes inside (although I reckon we could have managed a few sessions out on the amazingly beautiful yoga terrace)! I will definitely consider coming here again, and have already shared with several friends that they should try it out. Thanks so much for such an enjoyable stay! Ruth x

We enjoyed a fantastic 3 night stay with Tuscan Fitness. Yoga teachers were very good, food healthy & delicious, location beautiful. We also enjoyed the hike to an old abbey. Superb trip, would definitely book again!

Since I arrived I felt welcome. Paolo welcome me And He is also a very good Yoga teacher. All the team is friendly and helpful. Room was really Big and Very comfortable. I have met other people coming from Europe and It was amazing. Meals were very good and we met our chef for a kitchen Lesson. ..very Nice! Top is Alexis the best teacher I have ever had in Yoga! Looking forward To come Back!
