Mudra Vijyan has been kept as a sacred secret for ages. It is time to explore subtle ways (sukshma Kriyas) of healing and integrating all possible tools we can to clear pranic pathways, trigger the innate intelligence (sahaja jnana) and allow one to be established in Self (aham to Soham). Mudra therapy is primarily rooted in sankhya Darshana, marma vidya and pancha tattvas. Study the origins, therapeutic application of Hand (hasta) Mudras, along with ways to combine it with Ayurveda and incorporate a powerful yet simple tool to those who seek health as swasthya.
Nothing has the greatest power to heal but Self.
Modern medicine is moving towards customized health care, known as personalized medicine. Mudras like Ayurveda follow a personalized approach to healing. In the practice of therapeutic yoga, asanas are over glorified, whereas sukshma kriyas like Mantra, Mudra, Dharana and Yoga nidra are underestimated in their healing potential. We need to bring our attention to the roots and explore all traditional tools that could be of service to masses and serve as modern day medicine.
Mudra is the ancient Yogic art and science of gesturing and sealing vital pranic energies in the human body for health, well-being and spiritual evolution. It also works as a therapy for the body and mind by balancing the ratio of five elements (panch tattvas) when done with hands.
