      Magical mountain retreat

Shambhala Mountain Center is a beautiful retreat center in the Rockies You will feel a part of nature. A fantastic staff, good food, wonderful teachers and inspiring people. I recently returned from Enlightened Society Assembly. I chose to stay in a tent but dorm style rooms are also available. Enjoy the animals; a resident moose, deer, rabbits, chipmunks, birds and more. Enjoy the flora. Enjoy yourself.

      Pure Magic!

There is serious magic happening on this land! My most memorable moment was on the last night of ESA. Stepping out of the illuminated shrine tent and looking up at the night sky, seeing the super moon blessing us all with it's beauty. The moment just brought me to tears. So very tender, so very perfect, so very Shambhala. <3

One of the most magical and powerful retreat centers I have ever been to

When you walk on the paths, the deer come up to you. When you arrive on the land, the kindness of the staff is palpable. When you sit to meditate, you feel so supported by the decades of practice that has taken place. Truly, this is a powerful place.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Because I sometimes work up to 16 hours a day, and need time to stop and breathe. Mary
