Living in the Moment - Meditation Retreat in Evergreen

About us

People like to say we should live in the moment. But what does that actually mean?

According to Buddha’s liberating teaching on impermanence, the moment is all there really is! This profound insight cracks open our customary way of looking at our lives…in the best possible way.

Learning to go with the flow of impermanence is deeply relaxing, and we can let go of our usual clinging to what we consider to be our problems and limitations.

Kadam Lucy James is the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Colorado in Denver. She possesses a great wealth of knowledge and experience of Buddhism. She has been studying and practicing meditation and Buddhism for more than 35 years. She is invited to teach all over the United States.

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
