Meditation Course: Contentment in Everyday Life at Shambhala Westside Meditation Center in Mar Vista

About This Event

Contentment is hard to find.  We usually think contentment is found in things, achievements or experiences.  With meditation practice, we learn to appreciate ourselves and simple human experiences.  In this Way of Shambhala course we begin to understand why experience is often habitual and full of discontent and suffering.  And most importantly, we learn how difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness and humor.

Please note: The first class on February will be a double session with a break for lunch.

Shambhala Meditation Center of Los Angeles offers a rich array of ongoing meditation programs free to the public including weekly public sitting meditation hours and dharma talks. No prior meditation experience required to attend.  All are welcome.
