About us

We are an intimate retreat program that hosts 8-12 members, 3 times a year, in various locations. Following registration for your very first retreat, you will also receive access to a rich, and vibrant, online community that fosters respect, understanding, and support.
At SoulGround we are driven by a single goal; to guide, to encourage, each member of our community to dig a little deeper.  While we acknowledge that each retreat will be entirely unique, based on setting, facilitator, and group, we strive to consistently maintain the excellence and highly individualized attention for which we are known by our alumni.
SoulGround makes use of current research-based, and evidence-based, drama therapy techniques.
Each retreat is provided to our members at cost. Not only do we aim to provide our members with a high quality extraordinary meaningful experience, but we also want to keep SoulGround as affordable and accessible as possible.

SG3 - Journey: will be a weekend spent exploring our own personal Hero's Journey. Members explore their inner worlds, face their fears and emerge with greater insight and clarity.

H writes: Drama therapy to me is identifying aspects of yourself that you usually keep in a corner but have a significant impact on your life. Sometimes you can’t even name them, but they’re there. Drama therapy gives them a name and allows you to work on that part of yourself, to become acquainted with it and understand its intention through discussion, interplay and sometimes necessary confrontation.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Need an escape into only yoga. Larson
