"A beautiful mix of mindfulness, yoga and chi kong. In which Hans Kloosterman shares his bhuddistic knowledge and experience in various ways. This made me become very aware. He explains well what the effects of the meditation excersizes are on the body and mind. It is mainly the way how Hans does this, wise, respectful, and funny, which makes it stick and you can apply it yourself. If everyone would do this programme we could give proper attention to ourselves and natures. " Kitty Bernardus

Venue Highlights

CRETE
Crete is the largest of all Greek islands, and is the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Crete has a history of well more than 9000 years. The first inhabitants (7000 BC) probably originated from the east and decided to stay there, as the climate was warm and the soil fertile. The occupied themselves with cattle breeding. The first period people mainly lived on the lower ends of the Island, predominantly at the coast, later they started to live on higher grounds. Crete has had a moving history noting many occupants. There are many sights to see on the island that remind you of all those different times.

Crete is known for its 'comfortable' climate, which means its rarely stuffy weather. Its location in the sea means that there is a constant breeze, which causes a constant cooling. The breeze usually comes from the West. During the summer a strong northern wind, the Meltemi, can occur, that can go on for days that cools down the island dramatically. Making sure it stays comfortably warm.

Accommodations

Pavlos' Place consists of 18 rooms (with two or three beds), each one with its own bathroom with a shower, mosquito nets, small fridge, air conditioning and door screens. All rooms have a balcony with a view straight to the Libyan sea.

It is considered to be a “policy” at Pavlos' Place that there is no television or internet connection IN the rooms. A couple of books is the only necessary accessory for this place.

For the ones who want to keep in (small) touch with their work or friends, free Wi-Fi is provided all over the place around the terraces.
Pets are not allowed in the rooms.

Directions

The best way is to take a taxi to Pavlov's Place or rent a car and drive there yourself.

GPS Coordinates : (x,y) : (550385,3885507)
Geographical Coordinates (in degrees, minutes, seconds) :
Latitude : 35ο 06’ 49’’ , Longitude : 024ο 33’ 16’’

Suggestions :
If your vacations will last longer than a week, a good idea would be for you to rent a car for the period of your stay. In this way you will be more flexible to explore other beaches in the close area or visit some graphical villages.
Have in mind that a car (of small category) for one week costs the same as to what one will pay for a Taxi from the airport to Triopetra Beach and back! You can come into contact with Giorgos, and he can help you by arranging a Taxi for you or arrange for you to find a car to rent at a reasonable price.
