Sapphire Wellness will be offering this summer an "8 Day Heart Centered Healing Meditation and Mindful Cooking & Eating Retreat" on the island of Skiathos.

Together we’ll learn how to practice mindfulness through guided or silent meditation and mindful yoga. We will be mindfully cooking and preparing delicious Mediterranean dishes as well as how to practice mindful eating, breaking those unhealthy eating habits that we learned when we were still little.

So leave all your worries behind and come only with an open heart.


The event will take place on two seperate dates. Please make sure you book for the date you wish to attend.

Xanthi Zafiri will accompany you and instruct you throughout the entire program. Xanthi is a very heart warming person that manages to combine her counseling background as a Psychotherapist, with her Heart Centered Therapies at Sapphire Wellness in which she is also the founder. She is also a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator and holds a private practice in Illinois, USA. Above all she is a caring mother, a loving wife and an individual who values all her clients, providing them the emotional support they need to reach optimal wellness.

Free Time
A detailed timetable of the program will be given to the group upon arrival.Please contact the instructor if you wish a see the program beforehand.Excursions include a little hiking so make sure you bring hiking shoes or hiking sandals.One excursion will be by boat.Day 7 is a Free Day. Sunrise meditation and breakfast will take place as scheduled. After that you are free to explore the island further or visit the surrounding islands. We can assist you with this.

Vegetarian or vegan food is offered for all meals - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks. On specific planned days, dinner will be served either at a local tavern or mindfully cooked by the whole group at the resort as part of the program of mindful cooking and eating.Breakfast and lunch will be served at the resort. During excursion days, lunch will be served outdoors.We offer coffee, herbal tea and bottled and/or detoxifying water.Beverages and alcoholic drinks are at your own expense. We encourage you to drink mindfully.A pescetarian welcoming dinner at a local tavern will be offered on day one.

This event will take place at Golden King Luxury resort. For more information on the resort you may visit www.goldenking.gr.The resort offers 6 magnificent and luxurious beachfront villas. Each villa accommodates 6 people.
There are 3 bedrooms in each villa:
En suite Bedroom
Room with one double bed
Room with two twin beds.
For single reservations please be prepared to share a twin room with another individual of same gender.Each villa also has a fully equipped kitchen, living room area, large terrace and its own private pool.


Skiathos is a small Greek island in the northwest Aegean Sea.
