Devadas and Friends Bhakti Retreat Camp Cody
-Immerse yourself in a powerful weekend of chant! Set in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, this retreat is designed to help you unplug and reconnect with the deeper layers of yourself and your connection to the divine.
-Weekend schedule includes workshop sessions about the instruments often used in kirtan, the meanings of the mantras and how to uplift your own home practice. Discussions about Bhakti, Bhajan and Gurus.
Bring your questions and your favorite chants to share.
-Expect heartfelt, full, devoted chanting that invites you to focus
on that part of yourself that is yearning for connection.
-This retreat is designed with the intention of creating ‘satsang’…community
and friendships based on truth and empathy.
-All vegetarian meals are provided by Camp Cody and special dietary needs can be accommodated. Lodging is in shared heated cabins.
-Camp Cody is one of the most well-equipped summer camps in the country. Situated on the pristine shores of Ossipee Lake in the White Mountains, Cody’s facilities include baseball, soccer, football, volleyball, street hockey, soccer arena, and tennis. Comfortable indoor space for music and sharing food are on site. Cody also has a modern laser tag course and an archery range, as well as hiking, walking and biking paths.
Thanks to the generosity of the Call and Response Foundation and Devadas, this retreat is offered at the lowest price possible, with the attempt to include everyone.

About the Leader
Devadas is a kirtaniya, composer and artist hailing from Brooklyn, New York. He leads kirtans throughout the world and has recorded a wide variety of acclaimed CDs, including his latest releases, 3 Prayers and Radio Nada. In 2012, Devadas collaborated with indie-rock icon J Mascis to produce and record the film score for the feature documentary One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das. Devadas produced Nina Rao’s chant album, Antarayaami, and in 2016 launched the Lokah Peace Project, an online and ever-expanding video project aimed at inspiring reflection, empathy and harmony. www.devadasmusic.com
