About us

The Yoga Bubble YTTC is a Yoga Alliance approved residential 200 hours program. The course is spread over 4 weeks giving you time to fully immerse  yourself into the learning and teaching experience. Small groups (max 15) allow our teachers to give you the individual experience you need to feel well prepared and confident after your graduation. 

We offer a program that can be tailored to your learning style and level, so that everyone can be challenged!

El Palmar the center of Surf and bohemian living only a 20 minute drive away along with Vejer de la Frontera, described as the most beautiful of the white hill top towns of the region.

Classes are all day Monday to Friday, with half day Saturday and Sunday off

In your spare time we are happy to offer some activities for you to enjoy in your time off. These may include, local excursions, beach trips and sightseeing. Activities such as windsurfing, cycling, diving, go-karting and wine tasting can easily be arranged at additional charge subject to availability.

Morning Practice
Your morning asana class will be a focused on you learning The Ashtanga Primary Series as a foundation for your development as teachers. The first 2 weeks of your course you will be led through the whole series by your lead teacher and be adjusted and corrected by the assistant. When the group is ready, you will transition into the more traditional Mysore, self practice style of Ashtanga Yoga. The practice is geared towards both experienced Ashtangis and those not so familiar with the series. Self practice is not only an excellent way to work with our students individually, but also a great for those with less experience to familiarise themselves with a practice they can safely and confidently perform without guidance upon completion of the course.
Practice on Wednesday and Saturdays will be broken up by a Vinyasa flow class with a specific aim or theme. For example Wednesday's class could focus on arm balancing and Saturday's class aimed at leaping into Hanumanasana. These classes will serve as an excellent example for those that want to develop their teaching in the style of Vinyasa Flow.

Pranayama and Meditation
Within your pranayama/meditation session you will be guided through all the basic pranayama (breathing) techniques. By the end of the course we will have developed your own sequence of pranayama techniques that you will be able to self practice and take away with you into the world.
Breath is our bridge between the mental and physical, the subtle and tangible parts of our being. Pranayama's benefits, when practiced regularly are significant and can transform ones mental clarity and self control.
During the early morning hours we will also hold group meditations, these will be a mixture of guided and unguided. The guided meditations will be influenced by Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and will therefore serve as tool to quiet the mind, focus and become present.
Theory classes will explain the benefits accompanying these breathing and meditation techniques enabling you to practice effectively during guided classes.

Anatomy and Alignment
These classes will be structured through the Ashtanga Primary Series. Running through all the postures as they appear, interweaving a modern anatomical approach, so that the knowledge is applied and applicable to the practice and teaching of yoga. A few classes will also be dedicated to the alignment of postures that do not appear within the series to support your learning within the teaching methodology module.
This class is also an excellent opportunity to explore your own practice and learn the suitable modifications for your own body and others.

Teaching Methodology and Practicum
This module focuses on the skills needed to become a successful, engaging and adaptable yoga teacher. The class centers around peer led feedback and practical activities so that you begin to teach in the very first lesson. By the end of the module our aims are that you will of designed a well planned and practiced 60 minute flow class base that you will be able to take with you wherever you go and adapt to your audience. You will also have the tools and knowledge to be able to design and plan a range of classes, based of different themes and geared to different levels.

Yoga Philosophy
Philosophy class will focus on The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, covering the main sutras within the first 2 chapters and the 8 limbs as understood in both a traditional and contemporary context by comparing different translations and interpretations. Special focus will be given to the yamas and niyamas, the ethical code of the 8 limb system and how we can interpret these teachings into our lives as students and teachers.

Depending on the retreat we cater in different styles.
During our Teacher Training we bring in a macrobiotic chef with a personal training background who designs the meals around the activities done in the day to support our physical and mental learning.
On our retreats we cook wholesome and healthy vegetarian food as standard! For example salads and soups for lunch and hearty warming lasagnas and falafels for dinner.
There is always a full counter of food all day so our guests never go hungry. Fruit, nuts, bread, homemade vegan cake and cookies.
For our juicing detox retreats we have a cold press juicer to ensure all the goodness of the fruit and veg is extracted.
We try to source all of our products locally; so our bread is baked by our neighbor and the eggs from their chickens!


The large, Andalusian style villa can easily accommodate up to 9 people. The Villa has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Upstairs has a spacious living room with kitchen and large communal dining table. The living room has Wi-Fi, views of the ocean, a large comfortable seating area with access to the terrace . There is air conditioning, 2 fireplaces and central heating. The large terraces offer great views of the surroundings and the Costa de la Luz. Downstairs is another living room with a woodstove and small downstairs kitchen.

Our large fully equipped yoga shala is situated downstairs, a peaceful and spacious place away from distractions. There is also an abundance of outdoor space on the terraces and in the garden for yoga, meditation and pranayama.

Our rooms at The Yoga Bubble are named after the 5 fundamental Ayurevdic Elements:

Prithvi: master bedroom, private en-suite bathroom, direct access to terrace

Jala: twin room, shared bathroom, accessed from upstairs front hall

Agni: twin room, shared bathroom, direct access to the terrace

Vayu: twin room, shared bathroom next door, accessed from downstairs living room

Akasha: single occupancy room, shared bathroom next door, accessed from the downstairs living room

All rooms are bright and airy, include cleaning service on request, bed linen and towels.

Jerez Airport 50 mins
Gibraltar Airport 1hr 30 mins
Seville Airport 1hr 50 mins

When booking we will be happy to help you organise your travel from the airport to the villa.
From Seville and Jerez you can easily catch a train down to San Fernando Bahia Sur which is much closer to us.
If you arrive to Gibraltar there is a limited bus service to Conil de la Frontera which is only a 10 minute drive to us.

San Fernando train station: 45 euros

We always try to match up your arrival times with other guests so you can split transfer costs.
Car rental is also recommended so you will be able to get around easier once here if you plan on exploring in your free time.
