Accommodations

Costa Dulce Hotel and Retreat Centre is one of Nicaragua's premier eco-lodges with a strong focus on building community and environmental awareness in the surrounding communities. Costa Dulce Hotel and Retreat Centre grew very naturally and did so in the middle of nature. Each of the 11 bungalows and cabins has been designed with surrounding trees as well as plants taken into account in some cases the trees grow through the building and all have been built to take advantage of the local Papagayo winds to keep you cool without using too much electricity.
The eco-lodge gray water is processed and used to water Costa Dulce Hotel and Retreat Centre's garden and grow food for guests. When Costa Dulce Hotel and Retreat Centre says rustic luxury, think a modern-day Robinson Crusoe house. No televisions or air conditioning. There are bugs around, Costa Dulce Hotel and Retreat Centre is in the jungle after all and don't be surprised when you come across wildlife close to the resort or passing through. You may get one of the ocean-view cabins for you alone or share one of the ocean-view cabins.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Recenter, Rebalance, Renew..... I cannot provide nurture and wisdom to the people I love without the opportunity to fill up my own cup. Diane

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
