ScheduleThis adventure is more of a pilgrimage to many beautiful parts of Morocco.
In general on travel days there will not be a yoga class, and on non-travel days we will have a two hour yoga practice. Each location will have something different to offer and our schedule will work around that. For instance after a long day of shopping and sight seeing in Marrakesh, an early evening practice will be in order, and on days in the desert with wild music under the full moon, morning will be our time for meditative yoga practice.

About This Event
If you have always wanted to see Morocco, and would love a holiday adventure that is both a culture and arts pilgrimage and a yoga retreat, this trip is for you!
Travel through Morocco from seaside to desert, with mini yoga retreats in each elegant Riad we stay in.
Fifteen nights, arriving in Rabat and departing from Marrakech. We visit these amazing locations and their surrounding sites: Rabat, Meknes, Merzouga, Ouerzazate, Essaouira, and Marrakech.
Trishna Horvath leads the yoga and meditation practice. While soaking in the unique and varied beauty of this North African land, our yoga practice will provide a pathway for the inner adventure. Trishna shares a Hatha Flow practice with emphasis on breath and awareness. There is a dynamic vinyasa built around the classical Sun Salutations, Asana (held poses) offered with gradations of challenge, and Pranayama (breath technique). Mantra, meditation, and philosophy are woven into this practice.
Mohamed and Misty Aoualou are our guides through Morocco. Mohamed is a native of Morocco and a musician who speaks five languages. He and Misty generously open up an authentic experience of place, history, culture, music, and dance.
Trishna (Inner Adventure Travel) is thrilled to be working with Misty and Mohamed (MyMorocco Tours)!

Trishna was a wonderful teacher for our family yoga class on Thanksgiving morning. We have a tradition of doing yoga together despite our wide range of ages (25-77) and yoga experience (novice to experienced) and Trishna was able to teach and cue us so that everyone had a meaningful experience. She is a very thoughtful and experienced yogi !

I have worked with Trishna for many years. Attending her retreats in California as often as possible. I love her dedication to my individual success and spiritual and physical growth. I will continue to attend her retreats whenever I am able to do so. Hopefully I will be in California for her annual winter retreat. It is the best way to start a new year and the location and hot springs are magical. ~ Amelia Straton

Trishna has been my yoga teacher for over a decade, and the impact she has made on my life is profound. She is the most studied teacher I know: her classes are fluid and concentrate on an oscillation between inner and outer strength, and her guided meditations and mantras immediately place you in the perfect state for her yogic flow. She is careful about her students' bodies, encouraging an approach that allows risk but prevents injury. Her smile and laugh is contagious, and her classes are filled with joy as well as a quiet respect for this sacred tradition. Her technique follows me into every yoga studio, and her spirit stays in my heart. ~Molly Maguire
