Come and join us as we dive into the spirit of yoga during this empowering, experiential and integrative 5-week Yoga Teacher Training in Chiang Mai, (200hr Yoga Alliance certified).

Let yourself be guided by our supportive community as you unveil the yoga teacher that already resides within you. 

A comprehensive alignment-based Hatha and Vinyasa style training with progressive teaching practice. Week by week you will learn new skills, integrate them in your practice and build up the confidence to uncover your unique offering as a teacher.

Our curriculum includes: Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Applied Anatomy, Safe Structural Alignment, Intelligent Sequencing, Hands on Adjustments, Yoga and Buddhist Philosophy, Bhakti Yoga, Voice Expression, Conscious Communication and Personal Development Skills.  

We will begin our journey together in the heart of Chiang Mai's "old city" at Wild Rose Yoga studio and finish with a 5 day residential stay at Mala Dhara, a beautiful retreat center in a traditional thai village surrounded by rice fields, salt water pool, mostly organic restaurant and nearby hot springs.

Prayana is a Registerd Yoga School with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hr level.

  • Our curriculum includes:
  • - 100hrs of Asana, Pranayama, Mantra and Meditation
  • - 20 hrs of Applied Anatomy
  • - 25 hrs of Safe Structural Alignment, Hands on Adjustments, Teaching Methodology and Intelligent Sequencing
  • - 25 hrs of progressively more challenging practicums to learn the art of teaching through observation, practice and assisting
  • - 30 hrs of Yoga Philosophy and Ethics

Venue Highlights

The 200hr Pranaya Yoga Teacher Training, Chiang Mai, Thailand is set in two beautiful locations.

The first 4 weeks of the training are located at the Wild Rose Yoga Studio in the heart of the "Old City" walls of Chiang Mai.

Located behind the Chiang Mai Gate Market, down a quiet narrow lane - the Wild Rose Yoga Studio has been serving the Chiang Mai Yoga Community from the heart for the last 10 years with the highest quality yoga classes and instructors - dedicated to ensuring that the thousands of students who have visited and studied, receive the fullest possible experience.

Located within walking distance to the myriad possibilities of delicious Thai food, massage, fruit, smoothies, guest houses and more... the Wild Rose Yoga Studio is an ideal location for enjoying break times and after training hours.

The last week of the Pranaya Yoga Teacher Training is located in deep nature and luxe style at the Mala Dhara Yoga Retreat Center & Eco Resort. Situated 30 minutes from downtown, among the rice fields and mountains surrounding Chiang Mai - Mala Dhara is a haven and such a special way to end the training. With chic adobe villas, salt water pool, organic farm and vegan restaurant - Mala Dhara is a beautifully simple and natural treat.

7 am - 10 am: Asana, Pranayama, Kriya, Meditation
10 am - 11 am: Breakfast
11 am - 1 pm: Theory and practice
1 pm - 3:00 pm: Lunch and free time
3:00 am - 5 pm: Theory and practice
5 pm - 7:30 pm: Dinner and free time
5:30 pm - 7:30pm on Sunday: Bhakti yoga

When staying at Mala Dhara - the Vegan Cuisine of the Mala Dhara Kin Dee Restaurant will be a welcome reward during mealtimes.

Accommodations

The first 4 Weeks of the training - students are free to choose from the thousands of accommodation choices in the old city of Chiang Mai. Each student can choose their guest house or airbnb to suit their taste and budget - and enjoy their own private refuge after each evening after a long day of training.

Directions

Chiang Mai International Airport is just 3-5 minutes from the downtown area of the Chiang Mai "old City" and the Wild Rose Yoga Studio.

A typical taxi costs about 5 dollars USD.
