9 Day Ayahausca, Mushroom, Kambo, and DMT Jungle Retreat

  • Iquitos, Peru
  • Sep 1 - 9, 2019 (9 days)

About This Event

Our Retreat is located on the black waters of the Yarapa River – a tributary to the Amazon River near Iquitos, Peru. There are no roads connecting Iquitos to the outside world and the only way to get here is by boat or airplane. From Iquitos, the journey to the center – by bus, then by boat – takes approximately 3 hours. The boat ride starts on the Marañón River, crosses the Amazon River, and continues up the Ucayali River before connecting to the Yarapa. The center is a little way down from the where the Yarapa connects with the Cumaceba, giving a beautiful view of the black and brown water confluence.

Arriving at the center you’ll be completely immersed in the Amazon rainforest. We’re surrounded by over 300 acres of preserved, primary Amazon rainforest, beyond that are several thousand acres of protected land close to the Pacaya-Samira National Reserve which is one of the largest protected regions in Peru.

Ceremonies/Shamans

We will be bringing Shipibo Shamans, Elias and Sarah out to conduct our ceremonies and we will sit with them pre ceremony and discuss and answer questions to help us get in the right mind set. The day of our ceremonies, we go out to another Maloka we have that is a five minute walk into the jungle and is completely opened windowed all the way around but also covered in mesquito nets which provides a perfect setting to conduct our ceremonies. We also have bathrooms out next to the maloka if you need them,  The next mornings we will have group shares on our experience and you will be free to share your experience if you feel called to do so. We will also have have facilitators sit with and watch over us as the ceremonies are conducted and if you have any problems, asking for help are why they are there and that will provide the safety and an almost perfect setting to get you in a comfortable mind set.

VAL M "amazing experience!!!" "The jungle retreat was absolutely amazing and life changing. I came into it not sure whether I wanted to participate in ayahuasca and the other plant medicines, but after meeting Victor and Natasha they made me feel completely safe and comfortable to where I decided to partake. I was able to connect to the jungle in a way that I would have never imagined would have been possible. Every day was a different activity and a different adventure that I will cherish forever. Definitely recommend this retreat and I'm already planning to come back again!" _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ RONI "powerful and majestic" "My experience in the amazon enabled me to learn things about myself that I don't think I would have learned in another setting. This jungle is powerful and majestic. It has a life of it's own and I connected very well with it. The plant medicines and Kambo was not something I had already decided on but I was very interested in trying. Most of the other group members had done psychedelics before. I felt very safe with Victor during our jungle adventures and Natasha was right next to me when I tried Ayauhusa and Kambo for the first time. She made me feel at ease because of her energy when I was nervous. These two souls are doing this work because they love it and want to help others with what they have learned. It's not just a business to them and the Shamans they worked with are genuine and have a presence about them that you can't deny especially during ceremony. I would definitely go again. The people I met were also wonderful and the food was delicious." _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ FLAVIO N "genuine connection" "My family embarked on this adventure not knowing what to expect to be honest. Having previously met with Victor and having him as a guide in another retreat, my wife felt we’d be safe and encouraged me to look into this. We felt confident that we wanted to do this as a family. Over the course of the course of a few months, we summoned the trust to take all of us, including our 3 children into this marvelous experience in the Amazon jungle in Peru. Our host Victor surprised us with another beautiful soul accompanying him in this retreat. So we were greated not by 1, but by these 2 amazing souls our hosts, Victor himself and his partner Natasha. The pair work so well together in their preparation of the ceremonies and ensuring we were made feel at home. Their attention to detail and care for all of us and our children is something money cannot pay. It felt we all had a genuine connection to have this experience to reconnect with the other souls and stars of our unique constellation. Our aim was to heal and evolve individually and as a group to build a beautiful and honest word around us and of those affected by the work we were doing and continue to do. As a couple, Victor and Natasha have such a beautiful connection, and when it comes to put their individual organisational skills to the test, oh boy, they exceed. Their combined passion and Love, ensured our a satisfying and enriching outcome of our experience in their retreat. Our children felt so at home and so safe, that it allowed us as parents to have a little rest trusting they were all in safe hands, which they were. The result, immense love and union between my wife and I and our children, and more love and care for those who shared this amazing experience with us, so many names, but as one, in the name of love. We have a lot of love and gratitude to our amazing hosts, their working staff and every other participant who took the time and courage to venture with us. You’re in for an amazing adventure of self discovery, acceptance, forgiveness, no judgement, love and understanding towards yourself and others. May the light of our creator continue to shine within us and may we enjoy this beautiful experience we call “Life”. Thank you brothers and sisters!!! Aho!"

Venue Highlights

Accommodations
The accommodations are shared jungle lodge cabins, with four comfortable beds per room, they are relatively simple (no AC or television) in an amazing location in primary rainforest. Each cabin is partitioned so that you still have your own privacy. Often times, monkeys, sloths and other friendly animals come to share the fruit around the center. You’ll be immersed in nature while offering plenty of personal space in the large moloka.

Toilets & Showers
We have modern toilets and showers for your pleasure and comfort. There are four toilets and four showers which is more than plenty for a group of no more than twelve.

Maloka
The giant ceremonial maloka is a communal space in all sense of the word. It is where we all eat together at meal times. The many hammocks around the edge provide a perfect place for rest and relaxtion during the day. It is also where we hold our group circles to share our experiences which always creates a deeper connection between the group. And of course, it’s where we hold our amazing and powerful ceremonies in the evening.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To find peace and renewal while going through a huge change in my life. Empty nest and the end of a 27 year marriage all at once. Susan
