Members Program: Full Moon Shambhala Sadhana Gathering

About This Event

In 2018, this is also the Paschal Full Moon, or the first full moon of the spring season. The first Sunday following the Paschal Moon is Easter Sunday, which indeed will be observed the very next day, on Sunday, April 1.

" Every month, members are invited to do this profound practice together, then retire to the community room for potluck dinner and conversation.  We began doing this at the Sakyong's request a few months ago, and the gatherings have been very nourishing, connecting, and fun.  Please do come and add your energy, whatever it may feel like at that moment!"  Dia Ballou

This practice is open to all center members. If you are not a member but would like to find out more about becoming one, email shambhala.whiteriver@gmail.com to be put in touch with our membership coordinator.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

So that I am rejuvenated to be the best I can be in my relationships - personal, work and in Society - offering and giving to be of benefit to others! Laura

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
