Basic Goodness 3: What is Real? The Basic Goodness of Reality

About us

The third and final course in the Basic Goodness series, this course asks “What is real?” In addressing this question, the course focuses on a study of the phenomenal world with an emphasis on core Buddhist teachings, such as impermanence, the role of mind in the perceptual process, and emptiness.

This course uses meditation, contemplative exercises and dialogue to explore the central question of what is real. It is oriented toward the experience of sacred world, and the magic and wonder of the natural elements. There is also an ecological component.

No Prerequisites, but Shambhala Training Retreat 1; Basic Goodness 1: Who Am I; or Basic Goodness 2: How Can I help? Is recommended.
