Parenting as Path - Winter/Spring Semester

About us

Come explore Parenting as Path. Join other parents in meditation, contemplation and discussion.  On the first Sunday of the month, give yourself two hours to reflect and process the daily path of parenting.  During this time with other parents we offer two children's programs that will not have you searching for childcare in order to find some time for yourself.

Pre-registration has a regular price of $150 = $25/session for the Winter/Spring, and also includes the cost of 1 child to attend children's programming. Additional children are free for SMCD Family Members, $10 per child for non-members.  A spouse or partner can also join as a second parent for a pre-registration price of $100 to help ease the burden of cost on families.

Drop-in has a regular price of $30/session and includes the cost of 1 child to attend children's programming.  Additional children are free for SMCD Family Members, $10 per child for non-members.

Children's programming:
Shambhala Kids is for children ages 4-8.
Dragon Club is for youth ages 9-12.

Our Generosity PolicyWe have a generosity policy to make our offerings available to all who wish to participate. If the program price is an obstacle for you, please consider what works for you, and offer as much of the program fee as you can.

To arrange for this, please contact us in advance of this Program at: Denver.Shambhala.Treasurer@gmail.com

For those who can offer more than the program price, we have a “Patron Price.” Your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price.

We love you. And because we do, we're giving away another free retreat.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Rest and inner calm. Karen

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
