Sadhana of Mahamudra

About us

The Sadhana of Mahamudra is one of the mind-treasures of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche that is recited regularly at all Shambhala Centers. The practice is a way of overcoming obstacles in one's meditation and life, connecting to the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages, and discovering the nature of mind. Its essential teaching is that the enlightened state of mind is always present, which undercuts any ideas of spiritual materialism.

Everyone is welcome to participate. The practice consists of meditation and chants, and lasts about an hour.

In Philadelphia, we endeavor to practice the Sadhana on the full and new moon days each month.
