Outrageous & Inscrutable

About us

Prerequisite: Sacred Path – Meek and Perky

Study and contemplation of “The Four Dignities” continues in
Outrageous and Inscrutable. These fruitional dignities refer to the extraordinary skill of a practiced warrior. No longer afraid of making mistakes, the unconventional and visionary perspective of the outrageous warrior combines with the vast and profound depth of wisdom of inscrutability to create benefit for others on a large scale.

This is the fifth weekend retreat of the Way of Shambhala Sacred Path
series.

Patron Price: Please register with the Patron Price if you are able. By offering a little more, you help make programs accessible to participants with less financial means. Thank you!

Sustaining Price:
This price is the amount per participant required for the Shambhala Center to cover the costs of the program.

Subsidized Price:
This price allows people with less financial means to attend programs at a discounted rate, supported by the contributions at the ‘Patron Price’ level.

Generosity Policy: Our Generosity Policy is an option for participants in unique situations for whom none of the above options are appropriate, and helps make programming available to all those who wish to participate. If the subsidized rate is prohibitive for you, the Generosity Policy allows you to offer as much of the fee as you can based on your individual circumstances. Please consider the value of the program and practice generosity at the level appropriate for you. To utilize the Generosity Policy, please email the Registrar at registrar@dc.shambhala.org before the program. We cannot accept Generosity Policy registrations at the door, so please make arrangements in advance.

If you have questions, please contact us at registrar@dc.shambhala.org.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration is to find some very much needed solace away from the stress of raising 4 children, working (as a dietitian) and trying to get my private nutrition counseling practice launched. I am a registered yoga instructor and have practiced for over 10 yrs, and have always dreamed of taking a yoga retreat just for my own inner well being. Linda

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
