Please join us for a Full Moon Shambhala Sadhana community event. We'll be contemplating basic goodness - our own, in others, and in society - and sending that energy out into the world. In this time of confusion and distrust, this seems essential.

The Kongma Sakyong has requested that all Shambhala centres and groups host a monthly Shambhala Sadhana practice and celebratory meal for all Shambhala community members. This is an opportunity for us to meet, practice together, and talk about basic goodness and wholesome society. The intention is to foster experiences of basic goodness personally and societally, and to further bind us as a wholesome community.

The program is restricted to Philadelphia Shambhala Center members, but no other restrictions apply. 

The Shambhala Sadhana is a powerful practice that deepens our understanding, feeling, and appreciation of the profound and pervasive qualities of basic goodness in ourselves, others, and in society. The view of the sadhana, as the Sakyong has said, is that it is a binding practice for the community. He wrote the practice while on retreat in Nepal in 2011, and it has become a core practice in the community.
