“With an untrained mind, we live most days at the mercy of our moods. There is a different approach to our lives. We can wake up to our enlightened qualities: unconditional love and compassion; uninhibited, total ease with ourselves; a clear and sharp mind.” - Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche
This 5-week workshop offers instruction, practice, and discussion of meditation as a way of seeing the world around us more clearly so we can make our life-choices more brilliantly.
Based on the book "Turning the Mind Into an Ally", by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, these teachings show us how to use skill and compassion to become a friend and ally of our mind’s wild energy.
These teachings are offered to everyone regardless of any previous instruction or practice of meditation. Participants are asked to attend all 5 classes if possible (please note that on May 12th, class will be held from 10am-5pm).
To support the work of Open Sky, we suggest a contribution to help cover program expenses and overall maintenance, and are happy to accept an offering in any amount that you can afford, either above or below the suggested level.
