Battle of Ego

About us

What is the nature of our minds and our relationship to the world? Perhaps there is a genuine, sane way to live.  This course, an exploration of a Buddhist approach to life, is an investigation of how we relate to the world and to ourselves.

Our ego is our identity, but is it helping us or hindering us?  How do we know?  Through the practice of meditation we look at how mindfulness/awareness practice can help us discern what to accept and what to reject.  In this course we will study and reflect on materialism, the six realms of ego, karma, egolessness, the teacher and teaching of the dharma, maitri and the discovery of buddhanature.

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
