Shambhala Sadhana Practice

“I have composed a sadhana known as the Shambhala Sadhana that helps us, through the powerful practice of meditation, deepen our insight and feeling of basic goodness and enlightened society.” -The Kongma Sakyong, Jampal Trinley Dradul

In January of 2011, toward the end of his year retreat, the Kongma Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche composed the Shambhala Sadhana as a way to celebrate and strengthen our understanding of basic goodness and enlightened society and requests that ... we gather as a community to practice the Shambhala Sadhana. These gatherings are a community practice for members to celebrate and strengthen our understanding of basic goodness and enlightened societyThis remarkable practice will serve as a way to connect our community with the vision, dignity and delight of Shambhala.

Once a month on a Sunday morning, the Shambhala Sadhana will be offered in place of our morning sitting meditation practice.

Special Note: After practice, open conversation and tea will be offered. Please come enjoy this morning in community.
