Venue HighlightsThe India Sacred Retreats are designed to inspire and rejuvenate, and to allow for that reconnection to the spirit. Although our main location in Rishikesh will be on the banks of the Ganges at the peaceful Sadhana Mandir Ashram, a large portion of our retreat will be spent in the Himalayas, where we will enjoy the comforts of eco-lodges and rustic chalets, with beautiful views and natural splendor all around. The Himalayan foothills are beautiful and vast, and they offer an true transformational support for our journey.

Menu/CuisineBreakfast will consist of more savory offerings as well as fruit and porridge. Lunch typically revolves around the Indian staples of dal (thick bean soup), rice, subzi (vegetable), and chapati (flatbread). Afternoon chai (when available). Dinner will consist of soup, chapati (flatbread), and subzi (vegetable). All dishes will be mild (you can always add spicy pickle if you wish) and prepared fresh for our group.
AccommodationsWe will be staying in a variety of accommodations, including 4-star hotels in Delhi and Agra, the rustic ashram (yoga center) on the Ganges River, and the more remote eco-lodges for our time in the Himalayas. Shared double accommodations will have private baths with minimal (eco-lodges) to full (4-star hotels) toiletries provided.
