The menu has been carefully designed by REVĪVŌ’s creative nutritionist chef to offer a selection of healthy gourmet recipes made with seasonal ingredients and adapted to each guest’s diet and nutritional needs. The focus is on high protein dishes, which have a balanced amount of healthy fats, are low in carbs and free from gluten - with a Balinese twist. Using the finest organic ingredients, REVĪVŌ supports local farmers, sustainable agriculture and environmentally friendly products. There are no additives, preservatives or refined or processed ingredients in any of the dishes.

      Really great, however......

This was our first time trying this particular Wellness Resort, as we were in Bali over Xmas/New Year and were looking for an alternative to our regular Thailand health retreat that we visit annually, prior to returning home. We decided not to commit to the full organised program of things available and decided instead to book room and breakfast and then lock in various activities during our 6 days, which we were advised we could do once we were there. We also chose to pick our meals ourselves from the healthy a la carte food menu. After a few rather frustrating bumps in the road when we first arrived and when trying to lock down a program of various daily activities for our stay - which the General Manager personally addressed once brought to his attention - we could not have been happier. We trained with the trainer every day, we did Aqua yoga and even tried a meditation session laid on by the Resort to see what it was like. We also went out on bicycles our second to last day which was the most enjoyable thing we did.....cycling around Nusa Dua for a couple of hours with a guide from the resort, checking out the area/beaches etc (Small note here mentioning Jaka the trainer who was superb with us, training us hard every day and then being our amazing 'tour guide' on the bikes!) It was a little frustrating that the men's Infra-Red Sauna was not working properly for the entirety of our stay.....something I was keen to do every day as I do it quite a lot in Australia. The food was superb. Healthy and tasty, with various good options available. The rooms were nice and bed comfortable......they don't have televisions, which wouldn't be my preference if given a choice, so make sure you have access to a good book or streaming services if like me you enjoy watching a movie or catching up on a tv series in the evening. Although we were now enjoying ourselves and achieving exactly what we wanted, on our penultimate evening we woke up just after midnight to hear...and then see....a mouse in our room! Now we accept that the place is in the trees etc and that you have various creatures around and about outside the suite - which you can hear, particularly at night (as an aside, I saw a metre long lizard wandering slowly past our garden doors one morning!), but this was not something we expected in the room! To the credit of the Resort, the guys came to the room to deal with it immediately once I called to reception, but when discussing it the following day with the GM I felt that although he understood this wasn't a good thing for anyone to experience, he didn't really empathise with the impact this had on us (especially the impact on sleeping that night!) - even suggesting at one point that it could have been a gecko.....something if I'm honest that annoyed me, as we (and the guys who came to catch it) had seen it close up! If it was my place I would have at least done something for us, nothing big, just something to recognise what had happened...….I don't think this would have changed much from the experience perspective, but it would have felt like there was genuine empathy and pointed to the fact that it wasn't a normal occurrence. So, would we go back again? I have to be honest, I don't know. The food was superb, the facilities that were fully working were great, the personal training and other activities fantastic, but the experience in the room that penultimate night and the perceived lack of real empathy did have an impact and may be hard for us to get past - which would be disappointing, as the place has a lot going for it.

      A perfect moment !

If you are looking to a well-being retreat for a chance to escape, unplug, reset and start anew, Revivo is for you. Last week, I decided to spend a few days solo in Revivo Wellness resort : it was a gift to myself ! The beautiful resort, immersed in nature, creates a peaceful and timeless space. The Chef is amazing, his dishes are healthy allowing the flavours of his ingredients from the organic garden to shine. Yoga teachers are talented and inspirational. There I found tranquility to get in touch with my spiritual side. My stay was incredibly restorative. Now I feel calm, happy, with myself.

      Distress & relax retreat

What a wonderful retreat! Loved the beautiful resort and it’s incredibly friendly and helpful staff who did everything they could to make my stay amazing. Delicious, gluten free food, beautiful rooms, lots of yoga, meditation and gentle exercise classes / tips, spa treatments and some down time to enjoy the gorgeous setting. I can’t wait to go back!

      Wonderful Stay

I stayed 6 nights at Revivo 2 weeks ago. I initially thought it's really expensive but i think it was good investment in myself. The service was top notch starting from the people who greeted me at the airport. When i arrived at the resort, the GM Samy came out to greet me personally and i was also from then on in the very good hands of his team. The professional team Dr. Suddin, Jaka, Andreas and Joanna all knowledgeable in their areas and very passionate about what they do. I was initially not a fan of the healthy food but once i was more specific about what i didn't like, the meals were quite delicious despite being healthy. I picked up yoga and prayanama which are 2 things i would not have imagined myself doing in the past. The room was spacious and nice and the daily spa treatments were relaxing and great. Every single member of the service staff from the front desk to housekeeping to F&B to spa was great, i am so sorry i can't remember names as they all bothered to remember mine. I wanted to do a wellness retreat due to stress and issues at work and home and didn't know what to expect. The first thing i did after getting home from the airport and unpacking was to buy a yoga met. I have done yoga a few times since i got back as well as prayanama and i find myself calmer and more "at peace". Thank you Revivo and i am hoping these changes to my life will be sustainable and permanent.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I teach yoga part time and am a mom of two toddlers full time. I love my life, but goodness do I need a break. My husband and I have been putting off our wedding ceremony for 4 years because life has gotten in the way. We haven't had a single night alone since our family has grown. I wouldn't change a thing about our lives now, but it would be so wonderful to remember what it's like to 'just be us.' Antrim
