What does it mean to be human? How do we relate to ourselves, to others, to the world?
These residential retreats are an opportunity to find full appreciation of our potential as a human being. It is an exploration of our self, of our very being, and of the nature of our relationship with others and the world.
The courses are based on the most inclusive perspective – that of the unity of all existence, by which all things are naturally interconnected. This understanding is reflected throughout the content and structure of the course.
If you are interested in this retreat you are strongly advised to do an Introductory Discovering Unity Weekend or Weeklong course to get a real idea of what the retreat will be like. If you cannot make the dates for the introductory courses, you could also arrange to come and volunteer or visit when it suits you.
People are essentially extremely beautiful, they are a hidden treasure; this hidden treasure is there to be discovered by each person – the hidden treasure within themselves. That discovery is completely transforming...

Menu/CuisineCooking is considered as one of the most inportant activities that take place outside of the courses. Food is prepared with the upmost care and attention and served with Beauty in mind. In the spring and summer, all the fruit and vegetables come from the one acre kitchen garden, and all the egss come from our oen (very) free range chickens. Unless it is a buffet, we all eat together in one room, serving each other and being served as the occassion arises.
You should be asked about dietary requirements before you arrive but please let us know anyway.
AccommodationsShared rooms with 2-3 beds in each room (single rooms with double bed available at extra cost). Large, spacious rooms, eah bed has it's own bedside table and chest of draws, and one large wardrode in the room.
No internet in the rooms as the accomodation is seperate from the main house wher the course takes place. Very limited internet in the main house itself and on longer courses attendees are asked to not use the internet at all, though this is entirely your own decision.
Yurt retreats - yurts hold four beds, thee is also a smaller yurt in the village that holds two. Each yurt has a stove and you will be provided with enough wood (from the estate) for the duration of the course. Meals are cooked together in a clay oven and no internet is available during these courses as they are held out in the woods. All activities take place in the yurt village.
