- Yoga from Bio-mechanic:
- A workshop for Yoga instructors and students – that want to develop the consciousness about their own body and asana alignment
- We learn to:
- - Align, correct and adjust the postures respecting the bio-mechanics and the particularities and limitations of each body.
- - Observe where we compensate different postures.
- - Introduce modifications and variations in case we are locked in the shoulder zone and/or hip joint.
- - Design exercises and appropriate modifications for various basic pathologies that affect the spinal column or scoliosis.
About This Event
Our Yoga retreat has been created for all yoga, beach and nature lovers. Offering different practices like vinyasa, hatha and restorative yoga. The retreat is for all yoga levels.
The Yoga Class:
This is a highly personalized class, as the instructor evaluates and learns the individual need of the student, the instructor designs a special sequence of postures applying the principles of bio-mechanics and understanding of physiology. The instructor will introduce the appropriate changes and adjustments to release blocked areas, correct posture and movement patterns to improve the routine of health. The focus of the work goes beyond healing injuries and physical disorders and pain. It also seeks to improve the functions of joints and organs, reducing stress levels and create deep body awareness. It is indicated, specifically for people with spinal pathology as back pain, neck pain, scoliosis, disc disease or suffering from headaches, sciatica, deep contractures, joint pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, digestive disorders, insomnia, hypertension, postural problems, breathing difficulties and other psychosomatic disorders. And in general, for Yoga practitioners who wish to deepen their practice by increasing awareness of the body and re-balancing the natural flow of prana (breath) through it. Yoga therapy is considered a complementary discipline * in the path to wellness, physical, mental and spiritual. This comprehensive approach helps prevent disease and maintain health. Prior knowledge of Yoga is not required.

Doing a juice cleanse and eating raw food is a great way to give your digestive system a break, remove toxic environmental and dietary substances, cut unhealthy food habits and rejuvenate your body.

PREPARE FOR JUICE CLEANSE
Juice cleanses can range from 3-7 days or more that include six 500ml bottles per day. It’s recommended that you ease into and out of a juice cleanse by eating mostly raw foods, and slowly eliminating dairy, caffeine, alcohol, processed sugar and any animal protein. After the cleanse, you can slowly ease back into a sustainable and integrative diet that works best for you.
You may begin to feel uncomfortable during the first few days but remember that this is normal as your digestive system is getting a lighter load and it is ridding of all the toxins that you do not want!
You want to remember to always stay hydrated and continue to drink plenty of water. Many people forget to drink water while on a juice fast because they are drinking juice all day but you still need water during your cleanse! Drinking more water during the cleanse will help you avoid cravings and keep you from feeling hungry.
You do not have to stop working or set aside a certain time to do a cleanse. You can continue to exercise but, for best results it is best to refrain from exercise. If you insist on exercising, try to do a lighter than normal workout.
If necessary, you can make a tea by using warm water, lemon juice and raw honey. If you get hungry, drink more juice! If you absolutely need to eat something try drinking a warm vegetable broth or raw vegetables.
