Relax, Unwind, and Explore with Yoga and Adventure in Costa Rica

About This Event

This 6-night, 7-day retreat on the beautiful Pacific Coast of Costa Rica will provide you the chance to refresh, relax, and rejuvenate with yoga, meditation, and reiki while providing ample opportunities to explore and take day trips around the Nicoya Penninsula.

This trip will begin with a one-night stay In San Jose and an excursion to the world famous Poas Volcano. After the excursion to the Poas Volcano, you will take a 20-minute chartered flight to your final destination – a beautiful resort on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Three organic meals a day will be provided, as well as daily yoga classes taught by Michele Rath in the resorts open-air yoga sanctuary. Michele teaches Hatha yoga classes and will vary the style and intensity of each class to include soft and gentle, mindful movement, vinyasa flow, and power classes. There will be something for all yogis from the beginner to the expert. Michele will also offer group meditation and Reiki sessions throughout your stay.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The retreat will be held at an intimate beachfront hotel and yoga center located in Santa Teresa, a breathtaking white sand beach on the Pacific Ocean of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. Situated on four acres of unspoiled tropical beach, you will find beautiful swimming areas and also outcroppings of rock where natural tide pools form. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared daily and include healthy vegetarian options along with fish and/or chicken. The food is organic when available and prepared with nourishing ingredients.

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months.
