About This Event

MOVE+MANIFEST [LUXURY] – Join us for a new itinerary in gorgeous GOA, INDIA. Explore the quiet south Goa region, with plenty of time to relax and renew. Daily yoga + soul-coaching workshops are paired with a laid-back schedule, spa days, and self-care!

Besides daily yoga classes, our MOVE+MANIFEST retreats offer a series of mindful workshops that will guide you in the exploration of creative self-expression in your life.

The Goa, India MOVE+MANIFEST retreat will honor the deeply spiritual nature of India, the birthplace of spirituality, by offering daily workshops that will help deepen your connection with your soul and your divine purpose. We will have meaningful discussions and exercises on the topic of authentic self-expression and how to create a life aligned with this authenticity. We will have a week emphasizing self-care and slowing down, along with finding creative inspiration from the travel excursions and the beauty of the land. The intention is to give you the supported space to recognize your inner guidance and develop a more honest, intimate relationship with yourself, thereby activating your creative potential.

Some of what to expect from the workshops:

Energize & clarify your life vision

Connect with others and this world on a deeper level

Boost awareness of yourself and how you’re creating your life

Change the stories and beliefs holding you back from having exactly what you want!

This retreat is part of our GIVE BACK initiative, where EPM will donate at least 10% of profits to a humanitarian partner in the community where each retreat is held. Our partner in India is MAGIC BUS, who “steers children towards a better life with better awareness, better life skills, and better opportunities, in the journey from childhood to livelihood.”

Enjoy a week’s retreat at the southern end of Goa, not far from the airport, in the quiet beach setting where you can relax after their journey. We’ll be guests at the award-winning luxury hotel Alila Diwa Goa. Set amid lush paddy fields, Alila Diwa Goa blends the best of contemporary Goan architecture with rich cultural traditions to fashion an extraordinary experience in luxury destination travel. High pitched roofs and wide verandahs combine with the subtle shades of teak, local red laterite stone, polished Kota stone and terrazzo flooring, open-sided walls and brass lanterns, which bestow a soft magical glow at night.

The interiors are designed to capture the Goan ethos through simple furniture with clean lines. Rooms and suites have been designed such that they flow out towards the natural environs. The simple elegance of pale wood and cream surroundings are offset by latticed screens and luxury linens in shades of brown and russet. The public spaces also feature classic Goan touches, such as the art installation in the Edge Bar by contemporary Goan sculptor Subodh Kerkar.

Explore in and around South Goa, a land of swaying palms, white sands, sparkling waters, emerald green paddy fields and eternally clement weather. Goa’s lanes still hark back to its colonial past, evident in the exquisite architecture, in the East-meets-West cuisine, which combines coconut milk and chilies with the flavours of Portugal, and in the soulful strains of Portugese fado that are occasionally still carried on the sea breeze. Goa is the perfect place to dip your toe into the fascinating culture of India…it’s “India ‘lite,'” as we say, and it’s a wonderful experience.

Guests will not only enjoy the grounds of the hotels and the outdoor areas including a lovely pool, patio and lounges, but the retreat includes some amazing day-trips to the surrounding sites. A guided day in and around Goa will lead guests through an introduction to this area, including the beaches, temples, and other main sites. Other daytrips and experiences will include a visit to one of the beautiful Portuguese manor houses in the area with a dinner, a day of learning and a tasting of various Indian wines, relaxing beach time, and a private river boat cruise. The final full day entails a trip to a glorious spa, where guests can be pampered to their heart’s content. What better way to wrap up a week of yoga than a day of pure relaxation!

Healthful, vegetarian food is part of the retreat experience, including breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, either hosted at our hotel or out and about in town. Some even come served on a banana leaf! The cuisine is simple, flavorful and Indian, using fresh ingredients from local markets. We will take our tastebuds further by exploring Indian cuisine in a cooking class, where we’ll learn a bit of how to bring the flavors of India back home with us!

MOVE+MANIFEST retreats will feature daily yoga classes and life workshops led by our collaborator, Michelle Lee. Yoga classes will be offered in a way to relax, stimulate, and help guests grow in their own personal practice. Classes are open to all levels, beginner to practiced, and will be lead in an Ashtanga-inspired general vinyasa flow. Yoga lessons will begin the mornings and, in this theme of retreat, will be the assistant to help guests feel prepared and open to explore deeper in the focus of the life-coaching workshops.

After leading a successful 13-year career in the corporate world, Michelle transitioned her career into a life & financial consultant, retreat organizer & leader, and internationally certified yoga instructor, following her passions and sharing this with others around the globe. She now leads EPM retreats which, besides yoga, adds workshops for life development, manifesting your dreams, and vision board creation. She holds an MBA in Finance from USC, an MA in Spiritual Psychology from University of Santa Monica, and became a certified Ashtanga yoga instructor in Florence, Italy. She lives part of the year in Florence, part in Los Angeles, and part wherever her heart takes her.

* Participation in classes and activities is optional throughout the retreat. All levels welcome!
