4-Day Healing, Empowerment and Women Yoga Retreat in New York

Event Highlights

  • Here's a sneak-peak of our workshops, renowned guides & speakers:
  • Setting an intention on & off your mat with Bee Bosnak: Daily yoga workshops including: hacking the flow state, softening the sharp edges of resistance, & vulnerability as a path to connection. Daily meditation sessions including: the power of awareness and the layers of consciousness
  • Wear your mantra: Participants will tap into their inner wisdom through a powerful guided mediation by Shirin Eskandani. Each woman will leave with a unique and personal mantra that will be custom engraved on a Vanessa Lianne signet ring. The rings are delicate armor, meant to be worn everyday as a symbol of our intentions and a reminder of our authentic self. In this workshop we will discuss intention setting, the power of mantras, and how jewelry can be a reminder of inner strength and protect us as a talisman.
  • Love & fear letters with author, speaker, and artist Amber Rae: We will reframe the way we look at our “negative” emotions, and learn to meet them with compassion, courage, and curiosity. We'll do some letter writing to our fears, as well as some archetyping work to explore how we can shift our relationships with our emotions.
  • Fit Bottomed Girls: Bring your questions, your goals, your water bottle, and an open mind to this inspiring fitness workshop with Jenn Walters and Kristen Seymour of fit bottomed girls! We’ll talk about why we work out — and how that might relate to why some of us don’t work out. We’ll help you find the motivation that makes you want to get moving for all the right reasons, and we’ll also create and share some movement mantras. Each participant will leave with the knowledge and resources she needs to customize her own at-home (or at-the-gym!) workout once she leaves 109 world. Jenn and Kristen will also share tips for building confidence along with muscle, bust a few nutrition myths, delve into stretching, and then leave time for a q&a to make sure every woman there gets just what she needs from the session.
  • PLUS: An amazing welcome gift, a surprise session, and a beautiful community of women that will quickly become lifelong friends.

About This Event

This long weekend is all about taking time for you, while empowering other women. With daily workshops intentionally designed for this retreat, we want to inspire and empower you to live your healthiest and happiest life. From daily yoga workshops, to guided meditation, to writing letters to our fears, to busting nutrition myths, and so much more, this retreat will foster a beautiful community and safe place to simply be who you are. To share what shackles you & what liberates you. To not only create a personalized toolkit to live your best life, but to look inward at the masterpiece you already are. This weekend is all about gaining practical tools while nourishing the goddess within us all!

"This retreat changed my life. Each day something in myself broke, and was restored with the lights and love of people around me."

Venue Highlights

The Assemblage Sanctuary in Bethel Woods, NY (just a two hour drive from New York City), was inspired by their belief in biophilia: a hypothesis that human beings possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other living systems. The property located across 150 acres of diverse landscapes is a magnetic space to slow down, connect with nature, and exchange ideas around consciousness, food and culture.

Accommodation in a beautiful log cabin, with all the amenities (please note: there is NO wifi and little-to-no cell reception; we consider this a feature, not a bug.)This beautiful house will quickly become our home away from home for the weekend. Each participant will have her own bed, but will share a room with another participant. We feel this really helps build the community for the group and allows you grow close to someone new! There are several bathrooms in the house, and these too will be shared.

We are so excited to have the amazing Carolina Santos-Neves, Brazilian-American chef, writer, brand ambassador and food consultant, providing all meals for this weekend. Not only will she be creating delicious and healthy meals for us, she will help us focus on clearing negative emotions before we eat and helping us to better understand how our bodies and food work together. Our meals will be both delicious and experiential as we learn more about how to effectively fuel our minds, bodies, and spirits. She is passionate about cooking meals that create community and conversations around the table that inspire people beyond that very moment to do something more. We are so excited for her to curate this experience for us on this amazing journey together!

The trip price includes everything except for flights into New York. We do provide transportation from NYC to the retreat center in Bethel, NY on June 21st and transportation back to NYC on June 24th. Participants living in the New York are are also welcome to drive to the Sanctuary if they so desire.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Need an escape into only yoga. Larson
