About us

This 1 month long teacher training retreat is a one of a kind hybrid of Yin Yoga & silent meditation philosophies. Set on a secluded Greek island, on stunning Amorgos, absolutely everything is included to allow an incredible transformation, fast tracking your evolution beyond comprehension. Set in the only 5 star resort on the island, the conditions have been prepared to reveal the ultimate beauty of existence. Ava is an internationally respected teacher, sharing the non-dual wisdoms of tantric Shivaism, as well as powerful lineage of hatha yoga, jnana, karma and Bhakti yoga. She has paired with international teacher trainer Danielle Mercer, who works with her at the Australian centre offering a very popular yin yoga teacher training.

This retreat blends the depth, stillness and sensitivity of yin yoga with the most potent consciousness teachings of India and Tibet.

If you plan to teach yoga, or work in a wellness field, this course will provide a revolutionary perspective on purpose, business, abundance, surrender and success.

This training course is also equally valuable for those willing to dive into the teachings and come out refreshed, clear, inspired and exuding wisdom.

The silent meditation and yoga retreat with Ava was a mind blowing experience. Everything became so clear, my heart has opened in a way that can never, ever be reversed.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months. Keeping our fingers crossed! Jaimee and Dan

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
