The course is a 25-day intensive program that will provide education in all areas of yoga including yogic philosophy, anatomy of the physical body and the subtle body (pranas, chakras, koshas and nadis), yoga sutras, asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing techniques), kriyas (cleansing techniques), bandhas (locks), mudras (gestures), mantras (chants), and other traditional techniques.
Although no previous yoga experience necessary, applicants are required to be in good health and have a genuine interest in yoga.

Our course rates include all training, course material, certification, accommodation and 3 vegetarian meals per day. Additional services such as massage, spa, and detox programs are not included in the rates.

Venue HighlightsOur venue for the course will be The Spa Koh Chang, located in the sleepy fisherman village area of Salak Khok. Surrounded by the beautiful mangrove jungle, visitors to The Spa travel great distances over and over again to be in this peaceful and serene environment to detoxify and relax.
You can expect to spend your days training in a lush jungle environment with butterflies around you. During your free time, you can relax by the mineral salt water pool overlooking the mangroves, kayak, or exploring the local villages of Salak Khok and Salak Phet. And during the night time, experience a canopy of stars above you, then allow the sounds of nature to lull you to sleep.

FRIDAYS : (Optional) Half day. Mandatory classes run until noon. We have found that some students desire more free time during the course. Due to this, we have optional simple course related activities on Friday afternoons that students may choose to join, or alternatively they can take opportunity to combine their half day with their day off and opt to stay overnight at a different location and return the next day if they wish. Your meals will be prepared as usual.
SATURDAYS : Day off. You may choose to explore the island or stay at the resort. Your meals will be prepared as usual.
Menu/CuisineMeals during the training will be vegetarian to align with our belief of ahimsa (non-violence).
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at predetermined times during the day. See timetable. Additional food items and smoothies are available for purchase at the restaurant.
You can also supplement your meals with delicious local fruit available in the village.
AccommodationsThere will be 2 types of accommodation options available during the course:
Shared Twin Room (shared twin bed with 1 other person from the course)
Private Room (private room for 1 person with double-sized bed)
