About us

Ancient indigenous medicine known as Yage (Ayahuasca) for intense mind-body healing will be the center and main focus of this camp. In a corner of the Colombian Amazon (Orito, Putumayo) in January 2019.                                         

Open your mind and heart and dare yourself to this 10 day experience that will help you change your life and get new perspectives about your own life with the aid of this powerful medicine and the tribal leaders such as Taita Querubin Queta. Eldest of Cofan tribe and chief whom will be the guide in one of our 4 ceremonies.The other three ceremonies will be lead by three other elders (Taita Albertino, Taita Diomedes and Taita Universario). We also have the presence of Grandmother Maria Manesita Queta and Taita Oscar Giovany Queta (Taita Querubin´s nephew) and organizer of this event. 

We will also have many alternative therapies such as temazcal (sweat lodge). Ortiga (Nettle, a plant that activates the circulatory system. Meditation. Vomitives (strong purge with Yage). Chiropraxia. Andes and medicine music. Yoga. Word circle. And many more.

Sight seeing and visiting natural places will also be a part of this adventure, such as rivers and walks. Food and transportation fare included.

The benefits of ayahuasca are uncomparable, you will return to your home a different person, full of love and compassion.

Venue Highlights

From Bogota, Colombia (12 hours), from Quito, Ecuador(8 hours). Both trips are included in the price. We will meet you in either place.
The camp is located in the middle of the jungle surrounded by rivers and wildlife to give you a true experience of the traditional life.
The closest town Orito is 30 minutes away with all the modern services and free transportation.
The medicine (ayahuasca/yage) is made at the same camp by the shamans and their disciples.

Schedule

The first day (the 14th) is the arrival date.getting a good rest and an introduction circle with the medicine rapé(brazilian tabaco inhaled through ther nose) to start off. The first ceremony will be the 15th with taita queribin. The next day will be the ortiga(nettle) ceremony, the herbal baths, and the vomito.The second ceremony will be the following day with taita Diomedez (50 years of ayahuasca experience). Trips to the river with guides will take place following the second ceremony. Then we have our third ceremony with taita Albertino ( 90 years old), this taita is unbelievable and very traditional. Yoga and chiropraxi and our famous temexcal(sweat lodge) follow the third ceremony. The final ceremony will be with several chamans led by taita Universario another unbelievable elder. It´ll be non stop from beginning to end of curing and healing mind and body.

Menu/Cuisine

We offer traditional colombian meals that include soup, followed by plates of rice and beans accompanied with organic fish(produced on site), meat or chicken. Fried plantains(delicious) are included in abundance. We offer tea and coffee all day with fruit juices also. Breakfast offers eggs or cereals, granola, oatmeal. Papaya, pineapple, mangos and other fruits are all grown on site, no chemicals. You will not be disappointed with the food.

Accommodations

We have a very large camp that can accomadate 100 people. You have the options to sleep in a hammock(traditional), a tent or an inflatable bed, You are responsible for which one suits you best. We have several bathrooms and shower facilities. The eating area is spacious and clean with views looking out to the jungle. We have laundry facilities with people to helpout and make your stay exceptional.

Directions

Like i mentioned earlier we provide transportation to andfrom either Quito, Ecuador or Bogota, Colombia. It is your responsibility to arrive at either point of entery. There will be meeting points in both airports.
