Year-Long Mindfulness Immersion

Copper Beech Institute’s Year-Long Mindfulness Immersion offers a path for those who yearn to dedicate themselves to mindfulness, compassion, and self-inquiry in a warm community of other like-minded practitioners. The Year-Long Immersion offers an experiential curriculum of study which attends to the body, mind, heart, and spirit.

Overview

The curriculum includes four six-week classes, a day retreat, five evening sessions, and a weekend retreat. The Year-Long Immersion offers students not only the basic principles of mindfulness, but supports the deepening of one’s personal meditation practice and empowers students to integrate mindfulness wisdom into daily life on an ongoing basis. Each six-week class including a combination of lecture, practice, and conversation. While the program is designed to be completed in one year, students may take more than a year to complete the requirements. A certificate is offered upon completion of all the program requirements. Students may enroll in the Year-Long Immersion at any time throughout the year and may take . Courses are open to the public and may also be taken individually by those not enrolled in the Year Long Immersion. The Year-Long Immersion is for people of all backgrounds and traditions.

Prerequisites

Completion of Eight Week Course in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Daily meditation practice

Desire to grow and support the growth of others

Requirements

Complete four core classes

Attend one overnight retreat

Attend one full day retreat

Attend five practice in community sessions

Tuition

The cost to enroll in the Year-Long Mindfulness Immersion is $1,520. This price is 20% off the total of $1,900 if participants were to register for the four courses, one overnight retreat, one full-day retreat individually.

Simply complete our online registration form to enroll in the Year-Long Mindfulness Immersion. Once enrolled you will receive an email with a special code that will allow you to sign yourself up for the individual programs you decide to participate in at no cost.     As always Holy Family/ Copper Beach ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. Do yourself a favor, ATTEND a RETREAT, you will be hooked.

      Harvest Celebration 2018

    As always, a delightful evening!. Thoughts: 1. May want to publish an agenda in future. Not wise to be fashionably late. Reports were that the event was in full swing at 6:30 PM and 6:45 arrival felt like we were catching up. 2. Would be wise to provide the wifi information so everyone could connect for the text fundraiser. Verizon worked but several people near me said that they could not connect using ATT. The wifi would allow everyone to connect See you next year!!

      A Magical Place

    The Copper Beech Institute offers a wide variety of courses, meditations, workshops and is housed on a beautiful peace of property. I enjoy the Wednesday Candlelight Meditation as a group or 30-40 of us meet to share this mindful experience and are led by the incredible Miranda who always gives a talk that seems to hit home. This place is filled with such love and kindness. Go check it out!
