Yoga and Cooking Retreat: A Weekend to Inspire Your Mind-Body Wellness

About This Event

It’s time to press the pause button for a weekend of self-exploration, individual growth, and mind/body healing.  Please join me for an intimate group gathering at this beautiful nature retreat center in the North Georgia mountains.  We will host several yoga & meditation classes, cooking experiences, & hiking tours, among the relaxing backdrop of mountain views, a fire ring, a natural swimming pond, and a 100-ft waterfall.

Your weekend will include:

Yoga & Meditation Classes

We will host several yoga and meditation classes in a beautiful sanctuary yoga room.  Its windows overlooking the forest and valley allow for Nature to enter visibly.

Cooking Class

Inspire your senses during our cooking demonstration.  All meals (vegetarian) are included during the retreat.  We will dine at this relaxing setting with views of the waterfall.

Guided Hiking Tour

Elohee has over two miles of trails.  We will hike to Grand Hemlock, a 400 year old preserve for ceremony and an opportunity for connectedness of the land and the spirit.

Breathe…Learn…Cook…Relax…Hike…Exercise…Mingle

The strong interest of so many women encouraged the planning of this retreat.  Our experience is capped at 10 women.  Please book as soon as possible to reserve your space and secure your preferred accommodation style.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My last retreat at SMC was so inspiring and so relaxing. But i'd love to have more time there to spend at the Stupa, visit the Kami shrine, and generally interact with the beautiful enlightened society happening on that entire land. Brett

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
