(All Levels Welcome)

Book today and spend a week away from it all, immersed in yoga and wellness in this picture-perfect vacation destination. While yoga is at the heart of the retreat, each trip offers a different combination of activities: surf lessons, paddle boarding, yacht cruise, hot springs adventure, day trips to the cities of Granada and San Juan Del Sur.

Enjoy incredible meals and sunset margaritas with the group, or enjoy solo time on the beautiful beach of Popoyo. Wherever the day takes you, whether it’s hitting the surf, relaxing on the beach, hiking the hills, or exploring in town, you’ll leave your retreat lighter in spirit and open to take on new adventures.

The focus for our yoga getaway will be to reset and recharge.  Days will begin with an optional morning meditation, followed by a vinyasa yoga class held in our beautiful yoga studio. Guests will enjoy breakfast served oceanfront to prepare for an afternoon of surfing or stand up paddle board, or pampering yourself with a relaxing massage. The afternoon wraps up with a restorative yin-based yoga class, a wonderful way to wind down from the days activities.

Here, you can escape the hectic pace of everyday life, relax, hear yourself think, and soak up some well-deserved tropical sun! You’ll leave feeling clear and refreshed. Returning home a healthier and happier version of yourself. (All yoga and surf levels welcome).

About Jenny: Jenny Gomes, 500 RYT

I completed my 350 hrs yoga teacher training in Vinyasa Flow from Bliss Ann Green Yoga in 2015 in Barrie, ON Canada. That summer I went on to obtain my 50 hrs yoga teacher training in Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Board yoga, along with my PaddleFit Instructors Certification. In February 2017 I obtained my 50 hrs Yin Yoga Teacher Training through Bernie Clark in Vancouver, BC Canada. This is just the beginning for me as I plan on travelling overseas to complete another yoga teacher training... perhaps Bali :)

Currently, I teach yoga at Kamloops Hot Yoga in Kamloops BC, Canada

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I'm having a baby in October and want to focus my practice so I can be present and calm! Laine

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
