230 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING:
This 230 hour Yoga Teacher Training course will run over 3 weeks. Focus on this course is on Personal Development and Practice, Creating a Safe Teaching Environment, Knowledge of Poses and Sequencing of Classes. There is a strong focus on Teaching Practice with each course participant instructing their fellow students every day on the course. Our purpose for this training is to be authentic and open and to be prepared and present so that we can share our knowledge and love of yoga in it’s many forms and educate our students with passion and experience to the art of teaching yoga. We are creating and growing a yoga community based on integrity, self-reflection and excellence.
Yoga styles covered: Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and Alignment Focused Yoga.

Non-Residential Price: €2,995 (€2,500 Price for Tuition, plus €495 for breakfast & lunch* daily)
*On the two days off, lunch will not be included.
This course will cover Yoga Philosophy, Teaching Methodology, Anatomy and Functional Movement, Teaching Practice, Personal Development, Personal Practice and final assessments.
Prior to course commencement, 5 Pre-Training Assignments will be provided to prepare you for the training. Students will also be provide with a reading list of books.
Our training will prepare our new teachers to teach authentically, with a confident working knowledge of functional movement and asana and who are fully prepared to lead a number of classes of different styles. Our teachers will be versed in creating a safe teaching environment, will be able to offer Hatha Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Slow Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama. Our new teachers will know how to safely modify, enable their students to progress with advanced asana and will have an established relationship with their own practice.
Minimum of 2 years of dedicated yoga practice. Each participant will be expected to attend a telephone interview and submit an application.
Upon completion of all elements of the training, the pre-training assignments and successfully passing the written exam and teaching practicums, students will graduate with a Teaching Certificate for 200 Hour and can register as a RYT200 with Yoga Alliance®

Our clean, organic, vegetarian meals with much of the produce grown onsite, keep our retreat guests coming back year after year and they all rave about our delicious food. For this special training we will be serving our incredible food with love and gratitude and sharing our methods, ingredients and recipes with you too. During the training we will have mindful eating experiences where we will eat as a meditation and not only will the food nourish and sustain us during this deep immersion but it will be part of the joy, and a fun relaxing part of our day. Our Training Team:
Lead Trainer – Michelle Moroney. Michelle is senior yoga teacher, certified Health and Wellness Coach and runs her own successful retreat centre, here at the Cliffs of Moher Retreat on the beautiful West Coast of Ireland.
Trainer – Dearbhla Glynn. Through her 300 hours of advanced teacher training in the Elbow room Dearbhla has trained with movement practitioners Gary Carter, Susan Church and Yin practitioner Josh Summers.
Anatomy Trainer – Lexi Keating. Bachelor’s of Science in Biology (BS), 1999-2003, Springhill College, Mobile, AL,USA Master’s Degree of Physical Therapy (MS) Over 12 years of experience practicing & teaching as a Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist specialising in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, rehabilitation, injury prevention, functional movement and development. Over 2,400 logged hours served as a Clinical Instructor to Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy graduate students.
Venue HighlightsOur purpose designed, luxury venue is set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, the Cliffs of Moher and the beautiful countryside of Co.Clare, Ireland. We are located on the west coast of Ireland and Europe just about the mid-point of The Wild Atlantic Way, a 400 Kilometre stretch along Ireland’s rugged western coastline. We provide a variety of luxury yoga retreats throughout the year.
Join us in our beautiful yoga studio and watch the wild waters of the Atlantic Ocean from the comfort of our under-floor heated space. Set in the grounds of our retreat and facing directly out to Liscannor Bay, a massive wall of glass spanning 10m x 3m takes in the most stunning sea-view.
Our architecturally designed building has been lovingly created with your retreat in mind. All the details have been carefully planned and thought out. You will find the most modern heating system, bringing the room to the temperature of your choice. There is a state of the art sound system operated by Bluetooth and our lighting scheme allows for different moods and options.
The space is fully stocked with yoga equipment including mats, blocks, bricks, belts, blankets and bolsters. We have a fluoride-free fresh water filter and 2 bathrooms, one of which is wheelchair accessible. There is a large spacious arrival hall and a beautiful therapy room which is available to use for massages and other therapies.
The yoga studio has been orientated with the South-facing glass curtain taking in the views of the Atlantic Ocean and there are 2 panoramic windows, one facing East and catching the morning sunrise and the other facing West and allowing the pink light of sunset to filter in.

AccommodationsLooking for a peaceful night’s sleep? We have 14 bedrooms and can sleep up to 30 guests. Here is a list of the types of rooms we have available. At the time of booking, only the remaining rooms will be available to book. No matter what room choice, all our beds are made with the same Egyptian Cotton linen, hotel style mattresses, a bath towel per person and a hand towel per bathroom, hairdryer and hand-soap.
The Quad Room (female only): This is a large spacious room with 4 single beds with ample space beside each of them. There is a separate bathroom with an additional separate toilet in the same house.
Twin Shared Bathroom: This is a smaller twin room to our ensuite twin rooms, and shares a large bathroom with one other single room. The bathroom has a freestanding shower and large bath. There is an additional separate toilet in the same house. This room has two single beds in it. We have only one of these rooms available.
Single Shared Bathroom: This room has a window looking out to the courtyard with a single bed and shares a large bathroom with one twin room. The bathroom has a freestanding shower and large bath. There is an additional separate toilet in the same house. We have one of these rooms available.
Twin Ensuite: Our most popular room choice, these rooms are large with two twin beds, a number of which can be converted into a Queen sized bed when occupied by a couple. We have many of these rooms available and they range in style, decor and view but are all similar. All these rooms are ensuite.
Single Ensuite: These rooms are similar to our Twin Ensuite above and vary in size, decor and view, but are all ensuite.
